Well, there are many documented cases in Malaysia that rules in favour of the buyer for LAD to be calculated from booking date. These are cases that have gone all the way up to the Supreme Court/Court of Appeal. In a way, booking itself is already a form of agreement, and thus, it is the date that the buyer has committed himself/herself to a project. On another note, developers are actually not allowed to collect booking too, prior to the approval of the license. |
