Perhaps I should have qualified or expounded more. I was more referring to the forum here vis-a-vis when complaints were made on a particular issue. Then again, when the manufacturer/supplier/vendor, if you will, acknowledges that there is a problem, say for example, a certain defective car part, then yes, the issue is a major one. Not when certain individuals encountering problems and sulk about it in a forum does it mean it is a problem per se.

As for iOS 9.3, the problem affects the older versions of iDevices, not the newer iterations which Apple has acknowledged and set right, as we speak(type). So, for a lot of us having the latest iOS gadgets, I believe there aren't too many problems or none at all. That, in a nutshell was my contention.

A caveat here, I am not one of the iFags as some of you coined here. I am never brand loyal. I own Android, iOS and even Windows gadgets. I am just pragmatic in my approach to matters like this.

But alas, the gadgets in your hands are yours and therefore it is your prerogative to do what you want with them. We all here post what we feel and hopefully for some people, serious consideration but definitely just light reading for no smaller groups.

Not exactly bro that the bugs (ie safari) are affecting older devices. Those having the latest 6s also kena this. A quick search online will show that it is a widely spread issue.
As of the time of writing (AFAIK) the latest fixes by Apple have not resolved this. Keep waiting for maybe 9.3.1

Yeah, I read it. But only some of the latest iterations are affected. And I am not disputing that this is a major issue as you put it. And if it's anything to go by, all my iOS devices have no problems with this latest update and I have quite a few.

I can sort of attest to that.
2 of my latest gen. idevices are no having any prob. with iOS 9.3
While I'm holding back in upgrading my other idevices (although for altogether different reason  )

Attest to that or not. There are conditions in which the issue on links doesn't work and it's not limited to Safari. It isn't due to hardware iterations. It's purely software, iOS.
For me, I have an iPhone 6 plus and iPhone 6s. Both 9.3. I'm having this problem only on iPhone 6s, cause I got Booking.com app installed. iPhone 6 plus is okay.

I saw this reddit thread and got a "fix"... now no issue.

Summary: It's due to universal link feature introduced in earlier iOS. App can submit a reference file to say what URL links will trigger which app to intercept. Booking.com screwed up a lot by having links that doesn't belong to it also.
