Hi there. My 6s+ just instlled with screen protector which i bought from digi center. Unfortunately, once installed there are area where the film not stick properly. I believe it is because the sides glass curvature are not even or flat rather than bevelled.

I forgotten the brand but its like "monofilm" corning glass 0.04mm thickness 9H. The most expensive one about RM131 per pcs. Due to that i feel quite disappointed and don't know what to do besides sharing with you guys to get some support. 😢

Uhm.... I guess you can't do much right? The side curves is a bane to most screen protectors, especially tempered glass type.

I doubt you can get a refund, but you could try?

Typically two choice

a) plastic type, it just covers the area before the curve starts. combine it with a good coverage cover, it's good enough
b) tempered glass, my personal preference is to have full coverage until the edges or go plastic type instead. Corning 3D IMOS is the best I tried, utterly expensive. Need to watch out the cover compatibility.

Remax, Mono tempered glass alternatives etc, is okay for the price but slight knock, the glass will chip off. You go this route because it's cheap and have the glass feel when using the touchscreen.

Thanks for your comments. I think later on I need to go back to the center and ask about change or refund. Huhu Im afraid cannot because on that time the screen protector was installed the geek person already showed to me the problem that I was nothing to say and leave the premise. But after that, at home I saw it even worst. huhu

Could it be that the sides of your phone screen is more curved than the average iphone screen?
iPhone has different suppliers for the screen, thus some of the screen sides are more "curved" than normal, thus the problem of the sides of the sp no sticking properly
You could upload a pic of the condition of your sp for us to see

Maybe you are right or maybe because of the thickness of the film? Mine here 0.4mm thickness.

Here you are for the photos. It is hard to capture clearly as naked eyes. sweat.gif

I went already yesterday to the center. The geek guy try to re-stick back again the film but still the same. Ask for something like change to other kind of film but wasnt possible unless sacrifice for another ringgit and possibility that other film might results the same. sad.gif Thinking to naked the screen without screen protector. rclxub.gif

Yap looks like the problem of your screen already
It is not the thickness of the film, I believe you will face the same problem no matter which film you use

Oh gosh. Hmm. So maybe I need to look for non full coverage screen protector? Because the screen protector that I bought is full coverage screen protector. sweat.gif

Definitely not a good idea. I'm good with my iPhones, but 6s and 6 plus, it slipped out of my hands (putting in my huge pocket, casually using it, tipping over).

Thank god for tempered glass that saved me RM1.6k for replacement. I spend RM200++ for the tempered glass though.
Means it is the iPhone itself? That's new to me. Does this cover under Apple warranty then?

If so, I would take that as an advice smile.gif ...will stick to the screen protector as long as it will not disturb the phone usage than fine lor...
