Hey guys, so i tried to restore my whatsapp chat history but it stated that there was no backup found. When i open icloud, i can see the whatsapp backup file there. Did u guys encounter this? How did u all restore messages?

i did, but for whatapps and wechat when incoming message it still vibrate and ring at the same time.

I can only do it only vibrate but not only ring.

i did, it just that when im using the app it wont vibrate. once i put the phone in idle. when incoming message it still vibrate. confused.gif

I normally restore my whatsapp messages via the Whatsapp app. Not via icloud.
Got to your Whatsapp -> Chat -> Chat Backups and then start the backup
After that reinstall Whatsapp and it'll ask if you want to restore from the last backup

I did the chat backup but it was backed up to icloud drive.

Hi guys, i noticed another issue. The battery percentage does not update during charging time. I had to restart the phone just to get the battery updated. U guys face the same issue?

Yup that's what i did but whatsapp says it cannot detect any backup file but when i open icloud, the file is there

Not too sure then. Try manually start a fresh backup from Whatsapp and check if it'll be able to restore

Did you try it with 3G or wifi or both? Try restarting your phone and see if it helps?

i tried restart, 3G & Wifi. but seem didnt work. issit related to normal image & snapchat image prob? the image i couldnt download is snapchat image

Don't think so as any img can be sent through whatsapp. What about other messaging platform? Wechat, line? Have you tried those? Worst come you prob have to reinstall whatsapp

Do u guys notice the notifiction sound is quite low on the 6s? I had the 5s and it was louder

Yes and the vibration not as strong as iPhone 6/6+
