QUOTE(propertyagent2 @ Oct 19 2019, 12:29 PM) Internal promotion. Environment wise, it varies. Trade and retail have different environments, hence can't really generalise. But I can say that Standard Chart GBS is a fun place to work in |

QUOTE(Ashhh @ Oct 10 2019, 04:38 PM) Wisma LYL, the surrounding is decent. Got 1 restaurant inside the building. Outside got a few, one mamak, then there's one food court at TNB, or up ahead there's a place called 'Jungle'. are you familiar with the core mainframe team?Work-wise, it's okay all around. The working environment is good, however some pantries are small in size. Overall, I'd say OK la. if yes, did they relocated from wisma lyl to bukit jalil? |

Hi all,
I received a call from the headhunter regarding an opportunity at the bukit jalil office. It is a 12 months renewable contract position which may lead to absorption. Is it ok to work as contractor at SC? Do they really absorb the contractor after the contract ended? |

Hi Everyone,
This thread seems to gone silent for quite some time. I hope that you're all well. I've some questions on Standard Chartered's GBS ("SC-GBS") in Bkt. Jalil, and I would appreciate if anyone could share the answers with me if they have the necessary experience or knowledge/info. 1) How is the Procurement function in SC-GBS? Are they being managed well? (example: Team members are happy, low employee turnover, etc.) 2) Is the Procurement function a team with high headcount over there? 3) Any idea on the team composition? Are the team members made up of mostly local Malaysians, or are they predominantly expats? 4) What would the pay range be like for a Global Procurement Manager over there in SC-GBS? Many thanks in advance for your time in reading and responding. |
