UOB Malaysia expects the ringgit to rebound in the second half of 2016, supported by the country’s diversified export base and the sustained current account surplus.

“The ringgit, up by 6% against the US dollar since its weakest point in the third quarter of 2015, strengthened against most major and regional currencies to become one of the strongest performing Asian currencies in the first six weeks of 2016.

Interesting statement by UOB but not a single forecasted figure provided in the article.
Their estimates are provided here:
http://www.theedgemarkets.com/my/article/u...owards-year-end

Citibank's estimate is the opposite - RM4.53 by June'16 and RM4.51 by Dec'16 (see page 3):
https://www.citibank.co.uk/static/documents/recap.pdf

Of course, there'll likely be as many different predictions as there are analysts.

The international reserves of Bank Negara Malaysia rose slightly to US$95.6 billion (RM410.2 billion) as at Feb 15 from US$95.5 billion (RM410.1 billion) as at Jan 29.

The reserves position is sufficient to finance 8.2 months of retained imports and is 1.2 times the short-term external debt.

All I'm thinking at the moment is whether or not I can exploit the situation to make money online in USD and get lots of MYR. So, it is possible?

I don't think losses are possible, because I create what I sell. I got a dayjob (which pays like shit), but I could invest time sell my crap on the Internet. And since there's an unwritten rule not to undercut other people in the field, I could afford to charge full-price in USD.

I'll be rich!

That confidence is just sarcasm, fam. I don't even know if I have a market yet, but I might as well give it go, right?

Yes. As long as the investment doesn't bankrupt you, you should give it a try. Don't give up.
