I never faced such issues at all on my previous Note 5 or any of my other phones too. You should sent in service center to check with such irritating problems. Is totally abnormal
And to the user who asked my photo of mocha brown just go to HW main site - the shown unit is similar.

It doesn't has app drawer like many other China source phones - iphone like!
Anyway app into folder in Emui is now easier - just tap app you wish from list into folder you need. Simplest n fastest implementation I had seen so far
Anyway Google had plan to do away with app drawer in Android N too!
You can also use any other 3rd party launcher eg Nova , ACTION3 - I had tested only these 2
Using 3rd party launcher will disallow you to choose the many HW themes available
The default software allows you to set permissions n notification options for all app an unseen feature in other androids I had used. Just explore it to tweak to your satisfaction

The most attractive feature of this phone is its insane battery life ...I brought this phone with me to Taipei but never use it. In 3 days battery level only drop 4% with wifi left on n phone unused. My mail n whatsapp n other
app notifications continue to work in background.
Normal daily usage I could easily get 9-10 hours SOT with a mix of LTE/wifi. In Taipei I am using my V10 as my daily phone

Mate 8 is my current second favorite after LG V10. In third place is Nexus 6P which I plan to sell off. Will judge how the S7 edge will fare against these 3 phones when I get it on 17 Mar

P8max I used as a mini tablet n never as a phablet. I much prefer it over my other ipad mini 3

Officially There is no grey color for 4gb/64gb - you had better clarify again

I am a retiree ( age 60 now) n I have a rm10000-20000 yearly budget on this - is a hobby of mine buying/testing n selling off the phones. I was formerly a GM of a public listed company

Flipcase only for 4gb ram/64gb version. The 32gb gets only a free backcase

Try searching in aliexpress.com - plenty of such pattern back cases available. Not much choice of such in ebay

I don't think anyone here has experience on both phones yet
Specs wise Mate 8 is better
Which is better for you will depend on your needs

I could probably give you my assessment after I get my S7 edge on 17march. I am currently having the 4gb ram/64gb model
But based on several web reviews the S7 E has the edge on performance , camera shot quality. How much better n is it noticeable will depend on day to day usage
I will try put up a simple comparison as what I had posted between Nexus 6P, LG V10 and Mate 8
Your choice will ultimately depend which phone features are more important to you

The Mate 8 as with most other HW phones comes preinstalled with quite a good quality Screen Protector already...anyway I had never like SP on my phones

Samsung Amoled traditionally is always VERY BRIGHT and its colors are always over saturated ( more to fake) - this is the main issue which I never like on Samsung phones. However many users think otherwise.!!
