this is not price error. This is a cheap game to begin with. It was launched in PS4 for few months already. It is RM60 in ps4. I think they just want to target more PC users to join. Probably their strategy to get more people to buy.

Personally I do not like this game. Too easy to die.

what they mean by price error is the wrong price tag...
the deluxe edition should be rm60 instead of rm33...
while the vanguard edition should be rm33 instead of rm60...

the digital deluxe contain all the DLC...
while vanguard edition is not...
but the price for vanguard edition is almost double than deluxe edition.

that is why people suggest to grab it before they fix the price.

if you checked US price it is correct.
not wrong/swap like ours.
digital deluxe edition - USD39.99
vanguard edition - USD19.99

TLDR version
USD currency
digital deluxe edition - USD39.99
vanguard edition - USD19.99

MYR currency
digital deluxe edition - RM33
vanguard edition - RM60

Friend of mine stilll playing this game on console till this day.. Game was released on March on PS4.
So I think it's worth the game. Plus the game of a lot of content. For RM33, it's a steal, since price error. laugh.gif

rm33 for digital deluxe is a glitched price in steam malaysia.

in other SEA regions, digital deluxe is at least RM100 while vanguard edition is all below RM70.

Looks like the game is good on both controller and keyboard/mouse.
Not surprising about controller as it's made for it. But k/m works fine too.

Ytd i joined a random party.
Setting is volcanic planet at night, with bugs.
4 of us securing black box, arming SAM turrets and escort a train.
the moment when we walk with torchlight on head in the dark, covering each other back while escorting the train feels like some quality movie. bugs can just jump out from nowhere.

Manage to did it after many death. It's very satisfying even with random ppl.

not easy to play solo when ammo is super limited...

everytime you start the mission 1st thing to do is using stratagem resupply.
then you dont need to worry about ammo for the 1st half of the round.

yes there is but i think different weapon different cap.
i like using shotgun.
the mags cap at 8.

aside from supply...
i also use watch dog stratagam at the start of the game...
quite nice for solo...
in co-op even better.

and found out im better using keyboard and mouse compared to gamepad.

downside is i have to sit near the monitor/tv...
else i will sit at the sofa relaxing or lie down while playing.

what i learned so far:

1) take it slow no need to rush
2) by taking it slow keep check radar always (max out the UAV drone thingy so that can scan super far and see samples)
3) kill patrol so that they dont sound alarm
4) run when needed dont need to die die make last stand at 1 spot xD

One of the biggest issue with this game so far. Seems most players especially newbs like to treat this like just another twinstick shooter causing the whole team to get screwed rather than cooperating together to complete objectives.

personel level i discovered last night has no real indication of skills and team work in this game. you will level up eventually if you played enough. some level 20+ guys play like a totally noob and keep on FFing us and not doing objectives. this is not like CS where you can brag your KDR (that's the point of FPS right?) Helldivers is about the fun of team work and satisfaction of completing the mission as a team. laugh.gif the game is so much fun when your team knows what to do with minimal communication and common sense.

Once you are more experienced with how the game works and upgrade a few of your weapons/stratagems, going solo on all those easy difficulties mission is perfectly viable.

If you're used to playing stick shooters with the PS4, go ahead. But I myself never owned a console and using the PC I can actually aim better without FF spraying my team mates tongue.gif

Then I can actually macro the strategem codes haha but no fun there if I do that :-) Oh and PC and PS4 no crossplay! Becareful! Means PS4 gamers and PC gamers can't see each other.

when u r in game
on ur ship
go to the left side of the screen with the console n press a (I'm using keypad)
then u can see an avatar of urself
u can change ur helmet, cape, suit
then press r1 to upgrade ur weapons n such
that is for cape n such

for weapons
when u start the game
you will see a screen with ur eqs
change at there

I just play for a few hours only cause busy
but I think u can try and see if the above works

last night was playing public game...in the midst of 2nd game out of a sudden my screen became pixelated...so i "died" many time mainly due to dropping into holes...

then when i returned to the ship...the graphic becomes ok...not sure why

the SEA server for the game is quite low on players..but if guys change ur download setting in steam to US ..then u will got a lot of player to play with there...

then if u guys need intimate friend to play this game with...no need change anything..

im having a blast playing there since its not lag after all..i donno why..so many pub game to join apparently...

Problem with this game is there is no real motivation to do anything. Once you have all the unlocks, there is no reason to keep playing.

The hardest difficulty eventually becomes a cake walk and with no story or purpose to keep playing it. Glad I didn't have to pay the full price for this game.

Good game but overall disappointing for the lack of real content.

console port...cant make the game too deep else those kids will start jumping. all games dumbed down thanks to consoles.

but this game still fun with friends. they should make attack the bugs mother base or something. once we bombed the nest, reduce the bug random spawns. make some progression kind of missions.

or hope for more DLC. till then, i will still play casually but start hunting for other games. yeah it is not worth the RM120 even with all the contents. rm33 is just about right.

yup quite true...ive done all the mission and unlock possible ..either solo or coop....got excessive research point already and donno where to put it on..

but ill be sticking here for a while..resting from my casual FPS genre ...doing top down shooter felt like something refreshing for me as for the time being.. thumbup.gif

52 hours in and I think I'm done. Unlocked every items, killed 3 bosses and just left farming research points to upgrade.

The game quite desperately need more end game contents if the developer expect to see further long term user support however as a pick and play game, Helldivers push all the right buttons.

i think so...most of the friends ive added here didnt online into the game anymore since like 2 weeks ago...but im still playing..

on the game mission for multiplayer now is to defeat and conquered the last type of the alien races...the illuminates...we already conquered the bugs and the cyborgs world...

welp dont set ur download setting (its like changing server) to singapore or malaysia though..this game is dead on these country...try to set on US / UK (or europe country) / Japan...u still can get people playing there..

as for me ..im trying to finish all the achievement...and ofc for now trying to defeat illumanates races....maybe it will take a day or two to accomplish it...

fyi to defeat the race ive spoken about ..u need everybody to play and pool the points received until it reaches certain value..before the race can be conquered..

i temporarily go back to fallout 4 a while lol...
hard to find malaysian or SG players. but i still jump in a game or two sometimes. sometimes i fedup looking for good team mates (not the noobs TK u whole time ones) so i solo helldive.

i clocked into the game for like 200 hours now..and from my past experiences...unfortunately most of our SEA server player tend to TK alot compared to our US/Euro/Japan counterpart tho..especially when using shotgun... tongue.gif tongue.gif ..

and ok we already invaded all the 3 alien races...and the game start back over in terms of ..the aliens breached the peace treaty..which is same like recycle same old story back...WAR

but there is an achievement where we need to defend our city from their attacks tho..i think i can get that this time..since the alien races is retaliating .... tongue.gif tongue.gif

Forget about playing with pubs if you are expecting cohesive teamwork. More than 80% of the time those players just want to go trigger happy by testing their new toys or even worst simply throwing those offensive stratagem all over the place without regards of their fellow teammates.

Also a word of advise for those who like to go trigger happy; shotguns, arc throwers, explosive launchers and the EXO-44 Exosuit mech are NOT the weapon you would want to pick if you are playing a team. You will more than likely do more harm than good.

honestly me and my pub friends (added them since they played good) didnt like those mech ...they might be powerfull indeed ..but they often stepped on other players and their weapons easily teamkill those who are walking...the only thing im ok with them is when we are on the snow planet..where some people dont have their boot's DLC..that one i can forgive..

but its a game anyway ..play at your preferences ofc...as for me..ill be extra careful when playing with these mech guy..

welp...i still got 2 achievement left to be completed.....one of them are killing a bug tank using resupply strats...LOL bug still have not declare war yet....so cannot kill them... tongue.gif tongue.gif

nope ...asia server kinda dead already..the community population is about 1k-2k online in my playing time..the game will show u the statistic ..which one of them is "player online"..

but this few days i saw the player online is increasing...like tonight..there were like 3k player online....but maybe is just a temporary hype..i guess..and i wonder if the stats were right or not..since if like 3k player online...the multiplayer mode should be full of game open...like 2-3 pages ...of list ..but its alot of server so i donno..i mostly play on US server (boston/ LA/ chicago) or UK server...

but this few days i saw the player online is increasing...like tonight..there were like 3k player online....but maybe is just a temporary hype..i guess..and i wonder if the stats were right or not..since if like 3k player online...the multiplayer mode should be full of game open...like 2-3 pages ...of list ..but its alot of server so i donno..i mostly play on US server (boston/ LA/ chicago) or UK server...

Maybe it would be more interesting with multiplayer, so probably going to wait for a while yet. XD
