when bring in for service etc bring lzd receipt. u can try calling him give imei # only. good luck

maybe I was too thrilled, hence not exactly clear. i called the SC in Amcorp phone # above. Asked him nicely to check my IMEI. He checked & confirmed. hahaha Lowyat number harder to get thru

christ14 i'd agree to suggestion to pin it so that there'd be less posts about warranty (myself guilty also sorry) I have a feeling they "create the record" (see those screenshots others got from CS girl Leen) after they confirm we rec'd delivery - mine was sometime in the afternoon on the day I rec'd the package. Ariff said they count 1yr from that date

ie to check if warranty is by Xiaomi M'sia or not, just call up Xiaomi Malaysia Service Centers and ask them to check your unit's IMEI. Also ask them for the date the record was created. Don't bother to call the 1-800 CS number or even online chat (unless u get to chat with that angel Leen )

feels ok lah for the price. not so slippery anymore. holes for the usb & headphone no problem.

only thing I've yet to figure out is how to remove the case when I need swap out my sd card when the new one comes. It fits so snug at the corners (as it's supposed to) that I'm afraid to break the colored plastic trim.

Bro any tips how to un-mount the thing safely?

guys, i'm not sure if important or not ... but why when i go to "about phone" / status / my phone number = Unknown. Doesn't the system read it from my sim card?

My car radio does not have bluetooth but it has an Aux jack. I connected my RN2's earphone jack to my radio's Aux jack to see if I can play music or take calls over my car speakers (been doing that with my old phone )

Unfortunately, it didn't work well. The RN2 seemed to be sending some pulsating audio signals to the radio. Never experienced this with my old phone. Anyone know why it's doing that?

If it does not work, I might just have to get one of those hook-over-the-ear bluetooth thingy as a handsfree solution. Seen some bluetooth v4.0 models on lazada - can they be used with RN2 ?
