I think your unit wasn't properly assembled after screen replacement. There are many parts need to be shielded or it will cause gps or proximity sensor to malfunction.

I think same case as yours, please start reading from the last page http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4/ge...-t2895111/page5

Unfortunately there is no easy fix. Some tear down sites for your reference in case you wanna DIY.

My note 2 prime GPS damn powerful. Indoor can detect all satellites from US , Russia and China. Lock in less than 5 sec indoor. My friend's Samsung note 5 also cannot fight.

Tested...lock in in less than 10 sec. A bit slower compare with WiFi on. But location show me on the other road....mean it show me at Jalan 2 instead of Jalan 1 sweat.gif but better than my Note 3 and Note 4. If Wifi/data off......GPS lock in slower than RN2 and my K3N.

p/s: nice also....it keep searching for my location although it is locked to GPS satelite. Now show me at Jalan 1. Accurate also. Tested using Waze and Here map with WiFi/Data OFF.

So can conclude that eventhough the wifi/data off,the gps is still able to lock the satellite quickly and provide accurate location?

Other shop technician checked and found out one of the sensor with cable tear off by previous technician.

Such sensor is for hand free etc... but not sure the cable relates to every sensors since prominity sensor also not working.

Need order part and have to test out.

The part is as attachment

Wonder if this relates to the gps and proximity sensor faulty? I hope so as i am still like mi3 size and note 2 is too big after flip casing.

MEASAT is only a broadcasting satellite. GPS need navigation satellite which Malaysia don't have yet.
