Bro,
You also have to understand that as much you want your value for money, we are no desperate sellers as well. My main intention is to get a good home so that good quality pets are passed to the right people.People who truly appreciates and love them. Most of the forumers here cares a great deal about their pets and treats them as part of their family. And they have nurtured their pets to their best potential. You cannot deny the fact that they are still people with the mentality of a pet is just a pet. For example, a dog is still a dog, they treat them without respect and dignity.
I do not like to hear after a few months down the road that the pet has been given to someone. I definitely do not like people who does not do their homework and just get because they are cute. How many cute animals had died in the hands of irresponsible owner. As we speak there are pets suffering due to ignorance.
If you want good customer service, you can always get it. That's after the sale has been made. Right now, in the initial stage, attitude counts for me.
yes, i understand that u are worried about ur beloved hedgie, that is normal.. if u treat them as part of ur family..
But good customer service should not happen only after sales has been made.. Before sales is made, the customer is gone... That would apply to me..
Sellers who show me good customer service are those who begins since i get in contact with them... Those who only show after sales to me are unprofessional, coz they are giving the customer service after knowing that the person is a buyer and may buy again... (*this does not apply to the breeders here.. i m just comparing case to case, not pointing fingers here..)

Well, it is true that a seller should be polite but some sellers or owners like to test the water first. I will give such attitude if someone asked me to sell them my hamsters for RM5 or give them for free.... I have been through so much already with different buyers, so I know how to treat those that are worthy to be owners.... of course as said before, depends on seller.... We are all tired of being cheated by customers.... yes, you heard rite, cheated by customers since some will get say get for their family, act all nice and all and later sell of the pet to someone else with a higher price.... most of us breeders or owners have experienced this. I have experienced this a few times and I am really mad with people taking advantage of my niceness with them. So sometimes, a little attitude is nothing.
Petshops and suppliers is really different story lah. They won't tell you the age, nor sex, nor care about health....
And from experience, those who have patience and answer questions and tolerate the seller is normally someone who really wants a pet to love, not to have a pet for fun.... this is how I see it.
Well, sometimes we really cant do anything about it, coz they looks so real that they are a keen buyer and all...

Ermm... I think this is a rather weird situation.
Mr. Z
I don't really blame you for thinking that he's lanci. Now that I know that it's Sangterap, I can say that his hedgie is very healthy and well cared for, but he is extremely picky of who's gonna take home his beloved Heart.
Sangterap
I don't know the full story or what led you to scold him, you should try to be less harsh to newbies as they may take it the wrong way. You can just interview them and see whether they're suitable to take Heart home instead of coming off as lanci.
The most excellent owner can also be a very timid and sensitive person that can be scared off by aggression. Anyone that sees a cheap hedgie will be interested; And what if someone comes to think that if they have to be a little persistent to get a cheap hedgie? All they have to do is to be patient and pretend, to withstand whatever you throw at them. Just because they can tolerate you doesn't necessarily make them good owners.
This is looking at it from my view.
PS : This does not apply to dumb ppl who ask dumb questions to the sellers.
Yes, totally agree... People who are patient and persistent might indicates that they are in for a good deal only... Who knows what happens after that?
