You're working in KUKTM? A lecturer? Hehe. Yeap, I bought mine from there. Royal Canine for Kittens, the baggage is pink in colour. They also selling 1kg one. RM14 or something like tat.

Sure, no problem. And hedgehog doesn't play with another hedgehog, they like being left alone unless they want to mate... hehehe....

Lecturer? No la.. I'm in the non-academic line..
Ok, will try to find the food there..

Last how long ar... I din go calculate, but it really can last for quite a long time. Disease? Just make sure you are doing your part as a loving and responsible owner by feeding your hedgie healthy and good quality food, your hedgie is having a clean environment, providing whanever your hedgie needs. The rest just leave it to fate. smile.gif

All these are unpredictable factors.. unless its certain sickness that is common among the hedgehogs... As for mites... every animal is succumb to getting a mite in its lifetime.. there is no ultimate escape.. biggrin.gif

Actually mites problem, if you change the bedding frequently. It's very low to get mites unless the bedding you using already have it. If using newspaper as bedding, the chance of getting mites even low.

Never give commercial cat food like Friskies and Whiskas, the corn and by products can cause fatty liver disease.

IAMS and science diet can cause liver failure or liver disease....

Just stick to Royal Canin and any HOLISTIC brands.

Got the chance to play with Renjiro last friday and i must say, he is really...Really..heavy. lol..After sometime did not meet him, i just realise how good boy he had become. When i hold him in my palm, he doesnt even move a slight bit.Just sit there quitely until i put him down on the floor. This is the part where he starts to run away quickly, but heck, he still sits there quitely..Now..How good he had become..lol..

Our friend here is asking whether a 3 month old hedgie is too old or not. What's that going to do with "it should be ok after 8 weeks"?

Hedgehogs do not fancy lights. Thats a bad idea dude.As for air conds, pls do not go below 23c. Most prolly they will hibernate and that'd be fatal.
