I have seen reptile clipper before as babymoli had bought it for her iguana. It does look almost like a human nail clipper but not sure whats the difference..

Anyway, just got some rare shots from Ren just now as i saw him sleeping on the wheel.LOL..I think he play too hard and was too tired there..lol..I seldom see him come out from his hidebox and to see him sleeping on the wheel, its really rare..lol..

lol..maybe wait till babymoli post the pictures up when i send to her..I still not sure why he sleeps on the wheel. He never does that before.Maybe he was too tired running around the wheel and there he goes.lol..After that, i thought of cleaning the wheel and wake him up.Darn, he curls up - maybe he was scared and i just leave him there before i uses his FAVORITE meal worm to lure him out..lol...

It's quite easy to keep one if you ask me. Word of wisdom? Avoid getting those hedgehogs from petshops, look out for reputable breeders instead.

At least 6 weeks old for the hedgie to be seperated from the mum. Breeder's price is around RM280.

How big is the aquarium? If 2 feet then cant fit the wheel inside unless you're not planning to get the wheel. 3 feet will accommodate all but it will be difficult for you to do the cleaning. Too heavy to carry & clean. LOL!!! That's why most of us end up getting a storage box instead of an aquarium. Please do remember NO WIRED CAGE.

4 feet tank for hamsters?lol..how many hamsters it should be?

Well, considering the things inside the tank, i already do feel its abit too packed for Ren inside. But i cant really find anything larger. But its still ok considering he doesnt really run around that much. Most of the time he will go eat or run around the wheel. But i have notice him to come out and play under the wheel.Pushing all those wood shaving away and play with the hedgie-like toy as well..

1 thing i notice is that Ren ONLY come out when there is no light.I tried turning off my lights yesterday around 11 and he did come out (in a surprise as he only come out after i sleep).

I think as long as you got something for him to play with (eg: wheels), it doesn't require too much of space, cos they won't run around in the empty space if there's something to keep them occupied.

Hedgie loves darkness, same with Pickle. I notice there's a lot of common between Ren and Pickle... hahahahahaha....

lol..confirmed today that Ren likes darkness ALOT.I sengaja off the lights early today. As early as 9pm when i was out for dinner. And when i am back, he was at the wheel already. He say me, and straight run back to the hidebox. But when i close the door and everything was dark again, he was so active running at the wheel, playing with those toys, eating and of course, pooping around...

In fact, he is still doing it right now..lol...

My gf also love to play with Pickle during light off. When the light is off and you put your hand inside the cage, Pickle will come to your hand and lick it, then it'll try to climb up your hand, asking you to take him out for him to run around... laugh.gif
