As i know akachester has allergic to fur. He will sneeze non stop when fur is flying around. Sometimes even nose bleeding because of too much sneezing. But hedgehog has only quills so no sneezing occurs. LOL!!!

Well, i have nose sensitive problem since i was small and still having it now.Can easily have nose bleed due to heat, allergy or maybe even some minor scratch on the nose..lol..



Anyway, yes hedgies do have fur but i think its not as easily "fell off"(cant think of that word) as dogs normally.I am still ok with hedgies fur but they are kind of hard to take care.Ren keep peeing around the wheel and makes his fur down there becoming yellowish...Darn...

Well, i could tolerate with dogs but it could take time.As long as they are not loosing their fur everywhere.lol..

Its so funny watching Ren trying to run away when i hold him high up and he is trying to push away my hand to run away..lol..

Pickle did that too... in the end, my hand is full with his scratches from his sharp nails....

Yea, did you try to trim the nails?Its quite sharp already for Ren and its making hell lot of scratches on my leg when i try to block him from running.He just climb up my leg and make lots of scratches there..lol...

I don't trim his cause he can't stay still for me to trim him, i afraid i cut the nails too deep accidentally. I want to cut his nails for a few times, in the end i gave up.

Well, Ren can stay still (maybe like 5minutes) when i suddenly wake him up and he is still blur but i still dare not to try as i am affraid i might hurt him..

Lol!! I think in order to trim their nails, have to have a person holding them & another cut... I also thought of trimming Ren's nails, end up gave up coz no one there to help me hold him down...

Yaya.. first few mins will stay still cos still blur, when he really wake up, he'll start wriggling like a worm. The best is to trim his nails after a bath, that's when his nails is soft.

and will play with ice-cream box that i provide..aahaha

Plue is a puppy.

But is there such thing as a nail clipper for hedgehog or we should get those that are used for reptiles?

Erm... nope... human nail clipper will do. I nvr seen reptiles one before, so i'm not sure whether it's suitable or not.
