well i need to stress out that every hedgie that is born got their own individual behavior, even if they birth from the same batch of mom and dad, all of them different, same like us human. So no matter how much time you spent with them, some would be less tame than others, some get really fond of their owners while some kinda like the opposite.

That's normal. Imagine you are caught by a giant, sure you want to struggle yourself free rite? It's the same thing, as long as ur hedgie is not being defensive on you and allow you to hold him is considered ok d..

Sob sob.... Carrefour now sells pets... just now went with Kohii and Mr.Z to the one at Wangsa Maju.... there are selling 2 albinos... the size of golf balls for RM288 each I think.... so terrible.... put in a small plastic tank, both curled up coz so stress... if they uncurl, could be the size of a large egg.... but to me they look like golf balls.

btw, i am considering using the pipe thingy for my hedgehog to drink water

he always flip the water bowl and make the bedding wet
i scare got mites if continue like tat

yeah, i tink using tat is easier, somemore i no need refill it everyday

btw, sadly its not uncommon that place like carrefour to sell pets,
over the years they have been increasing their product range
anything that can be buy using money also they wana sell

i have seen pets being sold at shopping market in melaka last month
somemore kepong carrefour have at least double of wat wangsa maju carrefour have
not only pets but accesories also, saw a few cheap tanks there, thought of buying it but then lazy to bring so far
thought wana come back wangsa buy but wangsa carrefour dun have as much of stuff than kepong one

lol..subang jaya car4 also selling pets..1 sugar glider rm400nett..they have hedgehog albino around golf size also..worst still using those burung cage means bottom all those metal one,rm300 for albino..

- it'll take some time before kat chai drinks from the bottle & discover the magic water dispensin bottle. gotta let him get used to it. billy kept bitin it when he first saw it. he's doing fine with it now. smart lil thing knows where to get water now.

haha. kat chai sleeps at the top right hand corner of the box while mine sleeps at the top left hand corner, in the middle occasionally.

soshite, his various sleepin poses, all at the same corner. one at 90 degrees & another with left leg xposed xD disturbed him by touchin that leg & he took it back before doing the same thing after that.

lol btw my kat chai adi 10 weeks old but still havent see any quill fall down?

and he still sleep 20 hours a day

at 1st she scratch alot also,after one bath,she ok now,but still scratch now n then,thats normal....right

Scratch once awhile is ok, but frequent scratching is a bad sign. For example, wake up scratch, then go eat, scratch, run awhile, scratch, before sleep, scratch...

hahaha..... like that means no mites la.... sometimes scratch only....
