QUOTE(diversity @ Jul 16 2018, 10:00 AM) anyone have any idea on this? Sorry bro driving a manual here. I thought this kind of things are design to last lifetime of vehicle? By right as long as you change gear oil on schedule should be ok. If you still worried maybe a flush might help? Many workshops bawah pokok say no need to change at all. But since my car is getting old, thinking maybe should change? Or you can check with Myvi group. I heard my friend talking about the Lagi Best 1.5 ver has different tranny filter than the rest of the Myvi so their service schedule on tranny filter is different. |

QUOTE(anakMY @ Jul 17 2018, 01:11 PM) my mileage now 155k, I did flush once before, change coolant and topup water once. Other times just add water only. Not sure whats the condition of the water pump now. Planning to change it when 160k service, together with timing belt change. Was told by Zordaq most of the water pump failure were due to water jacket leak or gasket leak. Taking care of the coolant quality prevents the turbine from failing prematurely but wear and tear of other parts will still occurs.QUOTE(wklow28 @ Jul 17 2018, 04:30 PM) Tyre pressure overinflated? This post has been edited by inferno_17_85: Jul 18 2018, 10:08 AM |

QUOTE(satayboy2003 @ Jul 19 2018, 03:16 PM) You might need to check with mudguard shop for such leak.QUOTE(kausar @ Jul 19 2018, 03:47 PM) my boot bulb wont light up and automatic release boot wont function anymore. light bulb not damage as can light. anyone have the same issues? Most likely is the wire inside rubber tubing that connect bonnet lid to car body break. Should be cheap fix in accessory shop. |

QUOTE(wklow28 @ Jul 27 2018, 11:03 AM) Might be engine mounting? Or perhaps you have taken the dashboard out to fix aircond before? Most of my rattling comes from aircond vent, power window frames, and rear seat (nyik nyik ngek ngek sound). I've given up and decided to live with them. |

QUOTE(ZenGTMM @ Aug 1 2018, 02:38 PM) Not necessary. Need to check first if your engine oil is leaking into coolant tank. Easiest way to check is to open radiator cap and wipe ur finger around the inside of there is some brownish buildup. Water pump only fails if there is too much gunk around the fan blade area or the shaft breaks. Thanks bro! Really shifu level advice!Anyways its only RM70 each. Recommended aftermarket brand to use is GMB. Yes there is. but to replace it you would need to dismantle ur whole gearbox to get to it. Would suggest doing that every 250k km as a preventive maintenance. Consider doing a mini overhaul for ur gearbox. Price around 1k. common issues. the wire inside that plastic hose thing on the left of the boot putus. Simple RM30 can kautim in accessory shop. they will pull a new wire for u. Common issue to come from aircon vent, especially during cold weather or night u will hear the rattle even more prominently. power window frames rattle due to the support bar nut inside the door has became loose. just take off ur door panel and retighten all nuts. Check your crank angle sensor. Most likely kaput or wire near putus. |
