why all your persona absorber so lasting long? mine 56k already replace twice front absorber. the original came with car leaked around 40-45k, replacement 1 also leaked within 1 year, just only 7k km.
is it because everyday i going through 20-25 speed bumps?

mine just about 2 years, but already 35k on mileage 

slow down is the best for absorber , mine change at 145km after 6 yrs using, sometime not speed bump , u have to avoid pothole even the smallest ur fist

already drive persona sv for 2 years:
1.never change battery.
2. never change tyres
3.currently near 38km

should i change the battery? any place you can suggest?

tyres i think comfortable with stock tyre.might be change with same goodyear tyres.
early may workshop telling me my tyre still have 20% can still be used. however he did said about lower arm and suspension where need to be fixed. i havent go to SC yet to fix this.

where to change and how much budget? brand of the battery?
my location is equinne park, is there any nearby shops to suggest?

Finally my OEM RamCar battery gave up after around 5 years and 6 months 

maybe the door switches got some weird stuff going on.. 
ya 5 years.. the mechanic was shocked also  I've changed to Marathoner now..

Last time i face problem was the from bonet sensor i think. i just open and close the bonet no issue already
I found my problem of the alarm through the led blinks at the speedometer there.
Number of blinks will show which area the problem is.

My god how the hell you guys have battery last so long?
Mine was just 1 year 6 mths for stock
was in need of battery end up getting borsch.
I find that persona battery is kinda expensive
Anyway just got ROIDMI2s for my car. its kinda cool!

Just went and service my car. Noticed that they no longer provide 5w40. They use 5w30 now. Is it OK?

If not next time I get my own 5w40 for them to use

They told me the engine noise might be louder but save fuel and more power

Proton svc centre no longer carries 5w40 petronas synitium 3000.
they got 0w40 syntium 7000 but i feel its too expensive to be used for a persona.

Well ill monitor see if its very loud and check on the claims on fuel and power.
If not next time ill buy my own lubricant to be used during service

50k now. just finished my warranty. not sure if i want to continue on with proton. so far experience quite ok at there although abit pricier rm 30-40 extra? for normal svc.

proton last time uses 10w40 and 5w40 (syntium 800 and 3000). end of last year they colaborate with petronas to come out with syntiym 800 and 3000 but viscoscity of 10w30 and 5w30 at the same price i guess (or cheaper). its called 800 and 3000 SE. its only available via proton.
i think you might accidentally turned ur aircond knob to both face and leg. turn it back to face only. its the third knob below temperature

Mine 2 years in 50k km.
All the while I'm using full syn 5w40.
Just last week I change to 5w30. Will give it sometime and check back with the noise.
I'm a frequent highway driver . Let's see if my FC imported too.
My rev is higher if I do highway drive.
But I didn't notice much . Not sure if there is not much different is noise or the noise insulation is good

As for driving, i hear my tyre noise more than any engine noise.
Sometimes i drive without aircond early morning. just tyre noise.

Petronas syntium 3000 SE(only available from proton) this is a special formulated oil from petronas to proton.
Now all using w30 oils if svc in SC except sytium 7000 0w40 and one more 15w50 semi synthetic
the usual ones are change from w40 to 30.

I still havent notice the noise. if its noisier also its minimal if not i would have noticed it.
Will give an update if its very noticeble noise. but the SC technical guy said it would be slightly noisier.

The oil is from Service centre. i doubt they will give low quality oil. its not own by proton directly but is a 3s centre.
The oil cost rm 225 which is the same price as 5w40(petronas syntium 3000 as well).
About trust issues. sometimes when i svc in SC i will pretend to walk around and see their work.

Things like engine oil we can see the difference but things like brake oil/transmission oil i dont we can notice much before and after change.

I just had a bad experience with accessory shop. after they change sticker my headlamp cracked(spiderline crack).

before this the price of 5w40 petronas syntium full sync at petronas also selling at 22x-23x when i last check.
this new colobration as reported at pauline tan website suppose be cheaper but they charge me same price. maybe couz every single thing relate to oil also increase in price.

I notice that tesco's oil is cheaper even for full synthetic. maybe is older oil(manufacture quite sometime back?).
i know sc is expensive but those bawah pokok one some simply svc only i always on highway i somehow trust sc more.

my colleague go bawah pokok one to svc vios. guess what he didnt know tranmission oil need change, he only knew after i told him.
his milleage was >100k for his first change lol!
