wingman is cheaper? PS4 is suppose to be cheaper.
if u saw any wingman that's cheaper, they're probably trying to clear it.

or buy the scissors somewhat brother of the PS4 - the micra.
of cos the magic question is - how big a knife u want...else u may be better off getting another SAK.
*
The PS4 at the store was RM239 sweat.gif So Wingman would be cheaper if bought online... though the same can be said for the PS4. However, I'm no longer interested in the Wingman because of the partially serrated blade. My Leatherman knife was like that and cutting with it feels like nails on a chalkboard x_X

I want a Leatherman for the pliers, the Micra is scissors :/ Not too concerned with knife size, just want it to be straight edged. SwissTools are too expensive XD

Oh well maybe if I had more time I will visit another outdoor store and see if I would change my mind regarding the Squirt PS4.

U can try OGM for the maxpedition.

Got my pepper spray from a lowyat here few yrs ago..but heard he no longer sell. I saw some shops like Harvey Norman and Ace Hardware selling. Not sure if they are good, but they arent cheap...roughly 2.5 times the price i bought... Still, best to google the brand before buying..else imaging when u thought u can temporary disable a parang wielding maniac..only turn out it's mineral solution you're spraying.

my advice, after google and u decided to buy...try a short burst to understand it's features; spray pattern whether cone/jet, distance and dip a bit with ur finger and smear them on ur cheek and beneath ur eyes to understand the effect. If it aint hurting u, then it aint gonna hurt parang-wielding maniac.. and oh, make sure it's short burst..most small sized pepper spray can last 6-8 small burst only..eventho some might indicate 20...but when ur in panic mode, ur probably gonna have heavy-trigger finger and the burst wont be as short as during practise under calm situation.

Wow..ur EDC, all of them are so small..i bet u hardly remember it's attached with ur keyrings. Good stuffs bro! rclxms.gif

pepper spray can buy almost everywhere even pharmacies.
but a good decent one is the local brand stoper...rm20-40+ depending on size and strength.
testing beneath ur eyes is pretty stupid, especially for good ones u will be suffering... no matter how small the dab.
just go spray at some wall in a stairwell or something and see if u can tahan.

I bought my pepper spray from Guardian. They will require you to register your information because it is considered as dangerous item.

The canister is black while the trigger is red in colour. It's made in USA. It sprays in a long straight stream, spraying a orange-ish yellow liquid. It's a dye to mark your attacker. I shake the canister from time to time to ensure the liquid is mixed well, kinda like maintenance and test to see if it works. It does. I sprayed it into the sink and could feel the effects even without direct contact.

Many years ago I bought a pepper spray that was made in Malaysia. It sprays a weak short ranged cone and didn't have dye. Doesn't burn as much either. It was crappy. After buying the USA one from Guardian I've been using the same type ever since.

Last time i bought once from Guardian as well. But no registration's needed. But nowadays i couldnt see them anymore. I guess it was removed.

And i have tired some XX brand too...sprayed on palm...then take a sniff..nothing, then proceed to dab my cheek..nothing..then try it on my eyelid...some minor tingle...and i know it's crap liao.

But u might want to consider getting new one since u been spraying them as test whether it works. Usually cant last too many spray..

I'm in Sabah and I still see the pepper spray in several Guardians smile.gif Yeah I'd need to buy a new one soon, but my current one is still ok (can feel the liquid when shaking).

Btw, thanks to the poison in this thread I bought Gerber Dime as well lol. Pliers are awesome! So now my EDC tools are MiniChamp + Dime~

lol..this is exactly why i guess some local outdoor shop arent very friend friend with me...

kept asking for price of maybe 10 items..but end up only get 2 or 3....

sometimes, they really never check price with competitor...

like some knife, shop A sell RM180...another Shop B sells for RM350...dafok who wanna buy from Shop B la...they never do market survey on price izzit? or thought all consumer richfag like bijan? doh.gif

and even if busy, then check lelong/lowyat also la....like my multitool..Lowyat ppl sell for RM180 (eventho i got mine for less than RM100) and some shops here sell it for RM250....i really dont understand how they make business..

nowadays everyone also have smart phone...jst go click few times can chck right on the spot how much website ppl are selling...

if they get their stock alot more expensive than internet based seller, those who doesnt have a physical shop, then those shop owner really waiting to close shop liao... doh.gif
