I signed up for this too. Back in october. Apparently feels like you dont need to "special" sign up when i read the website. Not too sure. But really can just submit and get money back. The problem is really because since renewal and cny, mileage still quite high so.... cant claim any cash yet. These 2 months probably can get some money back.

every year insurance companies reprice their premiums based on overall claims incurred. If claims > premiums last year then this year will increase premium to cover back previous year losses

Yes, but send to manufacturer for repair. Others, no guarantee on ori parts.

Some insurance also have respray whole car policy to cover non accident car body if owners dont want different colour variation after respray. Etiqa max is 2k currently.

One will appreciate it if is a major accident.

Insurance is about buying a peace of mind.

There are also owners who pay cash for a car and buy 3rd party. If owners can undertake own risk, they dont buy insurance unless required by law. Many property owners dont buy fire insurance after completed paying their loans.

Also I think need to choose “drive less save more” when renew the car insurance. Need to tick on it (no extra charge).

Once tick then after renew it will have the steps listed out on how to submit every month.

If forgot submit for a few mths also ok as long within your insurance term. It will combine and pay u the past mths. Last mth of the insurance must submit one last time.. Etiqa will send sms to remind for that. Other reminders they won’t send you need to ownself remember.

So far received a few times they paid me direct to my Maybank bank account. 👍

Wait next renewal to enable it. Also not sure if Islamic car insurance have this or not. Mine is none Islamic plan.

Comparing pro milej and etiqa, the former pay a lower premium upfront. Should mileage exceed, have to top-up premium, else coverage reduce proportionately.

Etiqa is claim as per use with normal premium upfront.

Be it good things or bad... It provided what TS seek... Answers from public forums have risks.... One does not know the true intend of the replies... Sometimes in some cases, answers from public forums could n may hv other ulterior motives too
