There are others who can do online and the 10% discount is also present (but not allianz)

Kurnia, takaful malaysia, axa, tune, etc

Etiqa does have an advantage. Can use amex to pay

For etiqa, is it good in terms of calling for road assist and claiming damages??

I have been using AIG seems okay but not sure if it is more expensive than others

Almost same price, but i still prefer AIG over etiqa as the claim is more faster

I am not sure honestly. Never had to use it.

Since everything is online, price comparison can be done easily. Then you will know whether AIG or Etiqa is cheaper.

The correct answer is buy from the company where you are well acquainted with the bosses/claims staff. tongue.gif

Tried these 3 -> MSIG, Tokio and Allianz.
All good.
However, am using exclusively MSIG for both cars at present.

Have been using Etiqa all these while and now its time to renew insurance and they dont provide Agreed value for my car, only market value. Any other takaful-based insurance to suggest that has agreed value? Preferably the one I can buy online due to the 10% discount

-Takaful Malaysia also dont have agreed value for my car

Can try Kurnia, can renew online with 10% discount, plus Agreed Value, can even pay road tax together especially during MCO where most the gov depts are sleeping 😪. Kurnia quoted cheapest for my car this year (plus highest Agreed Value), after i comparing with others like Allianz, AXA, Takaful Msia, P&O, Tokio Marine, Takaful Ikhlas, RHB, Lonpac, Liberty...

I think AXA has a policy for Agreed Value too, Guaranteed Asset Protection – Return to Insured Value (GAP-RTIV). But vehicle age 4 years and above not eligible for this.

Using Takaful Malaysia, just claim my side window few days ago (kena pecah last week during MCO), claim is fast and easy, got surplus lagi if no claim.

Heard from the kedai cermin PIC, Etiqa is the best and claim procedure is more straight forward, been told to avoid xxxjaya somxx, because they will ask for repair instead of replacement the whole glass, like every 10 cases, 2 cases must do repair, just sharing.

Dont believe is true.

The shop also no brainer. Take a hammer and whack it to claim. No wonder some businessmen failed in business.

Using takaful malaysia 2019. Cz cheapest and can make 6 months 0% installment. Got lorry bang my rear when the car was 5.5 years old. Proceed to Body & paint honda.
Yeah need to pay betterment fees, understood. But for takaful malaysia they ask me to pay manpower fees for the repair, basically burn rm1.7k for a 15k insurance claim.

Found out RHB the cheapest together with Sompo for a 7 years old car. Unfortunately both can't renewed mine cz they said i just claim windscreen 2 years in the row even i had windscreen insurance.
Proceed with Etiqa without any issue, extra rm140 vs rhb

One of my family members passed away last year and his 10 year old Proton has been sitting idle. I just managed to transfer the ownership to my name. Road tax and insurance expired many months ago. I wish to get insurance and road tax so that I can sell off the car in the next couple of months. So any suggestion on what I can do? I am thinking 3rd party only and 6 months road tax (if this still exists).
