i follow exactly like at page 65 and follow your 10-11 instruction, was surprised too with the result. maybe because all the apps was newly installed, let see for next 2 3 cycle

I am on 7.1.6.0 after flashing. So far so good. Just need to read a bit on how to install Google Apps. After which is working perfectly on every apps that I am using, only the GPS on Google map give some issue but was later solved. Battery seem lasting well too.

BTW for those who want to flash, just do it, it may seem a bit difficult at first with all the dos and donts but is really not, just make sure u on USB debug by going in developer mode. Throughout the whole flashing process even u have some hiccup it won't spoil your phone, don't worry! Again just remember USB debug, I think this is what kill the phone if u forgot to turn it on

so far no official global rom. the ones comes with your phone are modified by vendors themselves and contains spywares...

To me the China official rom is very good already, just choose Englishas main language, u won't feel is a China phone, xiaomi really did a good job on its ui

the phone does not support micro sd ... unless note 3 pro..

I am using vendor's rim and I'm getting 5-8 hours SOT
But it normally dies at 6and a half hours of sot

hi sifus...
i downloaded 7.1.6 and 7.1.8 and tried to extract but it gave me error in winrar.
downloaded the 2nd time also facing the same issue...any solution ?

i am using firefox for 1st download, and xunlei for 2nd download...

Only Redmi Note 3 Pro support MicroSD Card on SIM Tray 2.
