You're just thinking of getting that cooler. I'm about to buy it today sweat.gif But somehow I have doubts, so decided not to. Better get common high end cooler with great reviews about it nod.gif

actually this cooler is good for other CPU but i think not suitable for Intel Prescott.......Its way to hot to cool down using this...U need a super high CFM Fan Above 150CFM if u can find any to cool it down....below that then its useless lor...will be same as stock fan temp

And you believe that? laugh.gif
There is no way the temperature will be lower than room temperature if you just use aircooling heatsink.

Its either his board temperature sensor are crazy or he's in air-conditioned room. smile.gif

actually gemin do have issues on the 775 coz they dont include the back plate for the heatsink for 775.....the back plate only can use for am2 and 939...

so the weight of the hsf+2 12cm fan cannot stand by the mobo with no hsf back plate attach cousing to no balanced presure towards the proc....

Resulting a not very good contact bettween proc and heatsink base....

So this coller is great on AMD platform....

My idle on stock 1.9 is 25~

Idle on 1.3v stock vcore 25~

Idle on 1.45 1.425 vcore 32~

So its actually the best coller for amd rite now.....ive tested HR01-Ultra 90-BT VX-G-power

This Is still The Best!!

yeah bought n try it wit my PD805 3.9ghz@1.5v
using stock cooler.... idle : 59' load : fail

using this geminII....idle : 47' but on load 65' sweat.gif

couldn't agree more dis cooler is exactly not suitable
for those o'ced pressHOT chips sweat.gif
but at least could see some improvement from stock cooling
which is kinda ok...

so nw will use it on my nw brisbane setup which coming up soon tongue.gif

Pretty cool, difficult to install. It's not difficult to install, it just after installing GeminII, plug in other wires and cables are quite tough

Do realize guys, brisbane On-Die sensor is broken. n there's no way proc temp can go lower than ambient temp.Condens will occur.

I don't mind any fan as long it is silent and looks nice. I don't like black fan even with high cfm. As an OCer, we'll know its performance. For normal user, they look like normal fan laugh.gif
