yah that's what i was having in mind.

Ultra-120 has smaller size advantage without losing out too much performance.

Gemini has good performance for both CPU and mobo however installation size and noise are issue to be considererd.

Further more not everyone has a big case to house the cooler like uncle ..

but look at it this way. its cheap, good and passes to be effective plus it cools down the pwm area and ur rams. sounds fairly good to me biggrin.gif

I've got another solution for you guys.....

if you look properly at the surface area of the fins, it is obvious that it can fit 2x 92mm fans on it nicely..... biggrin.gif

if 2x 120mm is way too bulky, use 2x92mm then......performance will be still the same thumbup.gif

Changing rams is easy. Coz the cooler is quite tall. I had no issues with changing ram.

I am one of them ... even with Ultra-120 also is killing and scracthing my hands...

will be getting back to HR-01 as it performs better under low RPM fan condition ... using Ultra-120 requires high CFM fan .. which something i dont have and wont want to get ... noise issue...

It really depend on the interior of ur case and the size of ur hands, hardware coolers and the hardware wanted to mount and remove...

it would definitely wont do for me as i have a pair of large hand ...

working around with Ultra-120 already is my limit .. i cant e=imagine how it would be with the gigantic size of Gemini...

getting a case with removable mobo is not as easy as it seems to be ..

beside not every cooler able to goes through the case .... due to height issue... .

Im using this heatsink,
so far so good, satisfy with the performance ~ nod.gif
C2D @ 3400MHz, vcore set more than 1.55v, dual Prime load temp is less than 55c ~ wink.gif

1fan is using Vantec 12cm fan (almost died), another one is Silverstone FM121, speed adjust to lowest.

What do u mean by close case ?? I think most of the photo shown here are done with open side panel so that it could be seen clearly ..

For example UNcle Ianho's rig is definitely has it's side panel on when actual running the rig.. .is that consider close case ??

he said so because ahpaul82 is running caseless as you can see.
