Damn nice! I'm gonna haf a real good look at it when it comes out. Really good design. The fans sit on a bracket that can slide to the left or right so u can adjust it to fit ure mobo n case. I love it coz it cools the whole mobo n my mobo is 1 hot mobo. Look damn cool too. Love the design n the 2 big fans. Big is goooooooooooooooooooood. Heatpipes r sexayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. I like.

Wheeeeeeeeee. Just got myself the Fujin today. I will compare it to the temps of my current TR XP120 in a controlled environment with aircond set at a specific temp to make sure ambient temps r equal for both HSF.

QUOTE(Doom @ Mar 18 2007, 09:35 PM) i feel the same as well... i am using TR Ultra -120 and the temp is: Using aircond is the only way to make sure I can test both the HSF at constant 25C room temps. The aircond will maintain constant room temps mar. If u use only normal room temps the natural air temps cud haf fluctuated by 2-3C depending on what time of day u do the tests. If I set my AC to run 25C it will be 25C in my room at all times of the day.Idle: 35c Load:43c can compare without air cond result...?? it is difficult for others to compare it at actual run time... Anyway, ambient room temps wont matter much coz my purpose is to c how the fujin compares to the TR XP120. What matters is to compare the load temp of both HSF n c the temp diff. Let's say the fujin beats the XP120 by 5C at room temps of 25C. Then the same shud apply at 32C room temp. I'm hoping that the Fujin beats by XP120 by at least 5C n also cool down my RAMs n mobo heatpipes more. Let's c what happens when I start installing everything. *fingers crossed* |

Sry I didn't haf time to write a review on this guys. Anyway just a short n simple answer for u guys wondering about the ability of this monster heatsink. It is monstrous in everyway u can imagine. Lovely temps on everything.
My CPU load temps dropped about 13C! I kid u not. This is compared to an XP120 which is already an excellent HSF. I was shocked that it cud drop 13C. The XP120 load temp was 65C. Gemin load temp is only 52C. Best thing is that it also dropped my mobos temps a whole lot. Mobo temps dropped about 10C. I'm very sure my RAM is also much cooler now compared to b4 but I haf no way of measuring the RAM temps. If the mobo dropped 10C then the RAMs must surely b cooler too. The 13C drop was tested in my room at normal room temps of about 32C. If I turn on the aircond, u wont belif the temps showed by Everest. The fellas who came for the LANparty n looked at the temps on my G5 LCD were shocked. The CPU load temp while gaming was only 30C! So those of u who always doubt CoolerMaster, try this monster, it truly is a monster. Best thing is that it's cheap. Dirt cheap. Too cheap. I was thinking of going back to water cooling to cool my King Kong's sky high temps but this Fujin solved all my probs. |

QUOTE(DaRkSyThE @ Apr 9 2007, 04:19 PM) to be honest, i dont think so. the ultra should still outperform this hsf under load based on the various reviews that ive read online. if beat also not more than 2 degrees Even if it beats the Ultra by only 2C, the big thing about this Gemin is dat it cools the heatpipe mobos like mine, big time. The Ultra sux in that aspect coz it just blows straight out the back n doesn't offer any cooling to the heatpipes at all. N HOT heatpipes is a major issue on all mobos with heatpipes once u start clocking them to the sky.u can refer to XS to lsee more |

QUOTE(clawhammer @ Nov 29 2007, 05:45 PM) It's lidat 1. The GeminII is only as good as an Arctic Cooling Freezer64 Pro. If compared to Freezer7 Pro oso the GeminII will lose. U can read about it in many reviews. From my own experience oso I got the same results. |

QUOTE(clawhammer @ Dec 1 2007, 10:24 PM) RRP for Freezer7 Pro is only rm129. That's y it's Custom PC magazine's all time favorite HSF coz it's cheap n performs well. I've tried it n it's good for up 3ghz on a quad core. Custom PC mag says good for up to 3.6ghz but that's in their cooler weather I suppose. |
