ohh god ..... if only the cooler is not blowing air to mobo as the hot air more or less would be circulating within the case....

the look is weird and someone not practical ....

what on earth are they thinking ...... make something like HyperTX would do better ....

not that i willing, it is the bloody hot ATI card that forced me......

there is problem when cooling off voltage regulator of the card when using HR-03.... else ,,,, i would really hope that cool the card passively...

anyhow we will see how it turns out to be ,,,,, but short on cash to get two new UV 12CM fans ....

So far CM works well in term of mid range cooling solution ...

it won't be the best for most of the product as the price also cheaper than competitors such as TT and TR ...

anyhow they have made big move with their new series of cooler ... although most of them are large in size .... somehow the performance is promising

QUOTE(sHawTY @ Dec 9 2006, 04:45 PM)
Damn it, this thing will never fit in my Tsunami Dream!!!
Argh...
Maybe this is the right time for me to change to Gigabyte's 3D Aurora case?

Looking at the displacement of heatsink, i'm kind afraid if it doesn't fit in my motherboard... sweat.gif
*
Before that at least show us how ur current rig looks like ...

QUOTE(s[H]sIkuA @ Dec 9 2006, 06:30 PM)
I am more worried about the noise rather than the weight sweat.gif

if 2 = 220CFM , then 1 = 110CFM , AFAIK , a 12cm that can produce such high CFM at the same time will also provide alot of noise doh.gif
*
Higher CFM of course generate more noise .... but u could always use quieter fan

it's not necessary to use high CFM if the stuffs ain't so hot ..

QUOTE(ianho @ Dec 9 2006, 10:51 PM)
Damn nice! I'm gonna haf a real good look at it when it comes out. Really good design. The fans sit on a bracket that can slide to the left or right so u can adjust it to fit ure mobo n case. I love it coz it cools the whole mobo n my mobo is 1 hot mobo. Look damn cool too. Love the design n the 2 big fans. Big is goooooooooooooooooooood. Heatpipes r sexayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. I like.  laugh.gif
*
That would combined King Kong with typhoon ... King Kong going to spin over the rig

That's why i mentioned earlier there is compatibility issue hidden....

the cooler is gigantic .... if anyone can install the cooler without too much of hassle ... then i would agree with the cooler ...

other wise it is not that practical ....

Err.... Seem that it dont perform as good as expected despite of its size. But at least it will cool your whole mobo smile.gif
*
i feel the same as well... i am using TR Ultra -120 and the temp is:
Idle: 35c
Load:43c

QUOTE(ianho @ Mar 18 2007, 07:47 PM)
Wheeeeeeeeee. Just got myself the Fujin today. I will compare it to the temps of my current TR XP120 in a controlled environment with aircond set at a specific temp to make sure ambient temps r equal for both HSF.
*
can compare without air cond result...??

it is difficult for others to compare it at actual run time...

@ianho

you have ur point there then ... however not everyone stay in air cond room ..

so it would be hard for others to take ur result as reference ..of course they could do the math as well by adding the ambient difference....

i wonder how it would looks like in ur case thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

why not, previously it was even better before i got the 8800GTS

Idle: 33
Load: 42

Beside i am using stock clock ... no OC... while she OC the E6700 that should be hotter than mine in default...

somehow my load temperature may not be the top yet ... need something more stressful i guess..

I have saw it selling at AllIT today for RM170...

seriously it's so light weight that suprised me so much ....

looks good for entire mobo cooling but not sure about ventilation ...

hmm . so the market price would be around RM150 to RM160 ....

that's good coz it requires another RM60 for two CM LED fan to work nicely...

so anyone beside uncle Ianho has got one in their rig ??

want to get some comment on it ...

QUOTE(squall_12 @ Apr 8 2007, 11:12 PM)
any review this will best the tunq tower or enzotech ultra x???
*
I dont think it would be fair comparison as those two cooler has only single surface for mounting the fan and the size of the fins are uncomparable ..

I hold it in hand as well but didn't buy it also .. the size is just annoying to me...

QUOTE(deric88 @ Apr 9 2007, 03:08 PM)
is there any comparison this and tr ultra 120?
*
I bet Ultra-120 would loose as i am using it now and based on Uncle Ianho review.. .this baby works better around 8c at least. Single fan mounting VS dual fan mounting is not a fair comparison.

the only thing that concern me is the size, weight and compaitbility issue.

there's pro and con for each heat sink on it's own way ...

yah that's what i was having in mind.

Ultra-120 has smaller size advantage without losing out too much performance.

Gemini has good performance for both CPU and mobo however installation size and noise are issue to be considererd.

Further more not everyone has a big case to house the cooler like uncle ..
