But minimal lag is not guaranteed, especially for a low end Samsung. biggrin.gif

Really? If so, what would u recommend for optimal balance for long life battery and minimal lag?

I was just saying that minimal lag is not guaranteed on a low end Samsung, based on my experiences with few Galaxy J series in the past. Who knows? The 2016 edtion Galaxy J series might perform different than their predecessors.

Since you excluded Xiaomi from your brand list, then it's only the Galaxy J7 (2016) that suits your needs in terms of battery life.

Thats from the performance review, I think if hes not doing any intensive gaming, then there shouldn't be that much lag

Brand : Anything but Lumia/Xperia/Apple

Budget : 1200-1700

Spec : 3GB/MicroSD slot must be available/Battery life

Size : Enough size to fit my jeans back pocket.

Usage : Calls/Whatsapp and other social media/Low intensity gaming

Prefer long lasting phone. I am looking for phone that can last longer in time. Not planning to change phone for another next 2 years after buying new phone blush.gif

Huawei P9 is better.

But it's out of your budget. Unless you can find somewhere else selling it within your budget or you are willing to pay more, go for the P9.
