yours mitsu or siemens ECU?

i would recommend, open pod air filter with CAI and heatshield, 4-2-1 extractor, full 1.8" exhaust system follow ori route to any s-flow muffler at the back and then 1.6 clutch system

should be more than enough smile.gif
*
just get drop in air filter, fast road spec cams & lightened & dampened pulley. all that should set u back about 2k, every sen well spent!

just got back from glenmarie branch. they only have the 1.6 auto (non-h/line) for test-drive. i took it anyway...compare to honda city's gearbox, the difference is like heaven and earth, then of course, the comparison is flawed (now stop flaming. pls.) the gear box seems 'lost' at times. it droped gear when the car was maintaining speed. maybe i should put more practice into my pedal work. the weird sound can still be heard once the rev hits 5k+. the brakes feels unresponsive compared to my satria 1.3 manual and a myvi 1.0 (dad's car). was looking forward to test the manual though, but they don't have it. maybe i shud go to the COE branch and check if they have it. can't wait to floor it...

p/s: it's not as loud as some ppl complained. the sound isolation is still better than my old satria. it's only the weird sound (5k+) which frightens me.

the auto gear box wont shift even tho i already rev to the red line and beyond... it only shift at 7k rpm
blink.gif

you need to get used to the brakes... its slightly different from other cars because of the multiple biting points....

just not sure why auto is that sluggish only

I received call from Tg Malim explaining why the car was delayed. According to them the ABS for H-Line was dysfunctional that they have to close the plant production since Dec2006 to investigate. Wonder is it true or just plain lame excuse, even if it was an excuse, it was a bad one indeed as it jeapodizes the Proton reputation shakehead.gif doh.gif

To go COE:

From summit, use kesas highway towards klang direction, once u pass the 3 petrol station (shell, petronas, esso) on your left, there is one big-arse proton building there, turn left directly after passing the 3 petrol station.....

------------------------------------------

Tg Malim shut down production for Dec 2006 due to too much stocks.
They don't want to release it yet most likely because they might suffer more loss when 2007 approaches. U know la, too many stocks on the market, cheaper, less stock, price still can control.

Unfortunately their plan kinda back-fired on them.

My ABS is working fine, tested it out just now
