Nah, if you drain your batts till its low before charging it, theres more wear and tear on the batts.

Its like this: If you insert just the tip, you'll last longer! Lol

Yeah. You can slap on the most sloppy build and it still works great with good flavor/vapor. Just stuff cotton into the slots and it wont leak - no need for any special trim to the cotton.
The airflow & juice flow control will soon be copied by every other tank.

How did you come to determine that theres hot spots? Did the coil glow?

Is your connections fully functioning? No shorts etc? Is your post holes/screws clean? No gunk?

Wire
I your wire good? Did it glow the first time you fired it? Did you clean the wire before coiling?

Its known that Titanium wires could have residue on it. Firing it the first time can cause it to glow or have a flame.
I wash then dry my Ti wire before coiling. Don't want to inhale anything toxic.

Is that a Bellus? Make sure your coil is not too far out. If the coil makes contact with the chimney barrel it'll short. Also line up the coil to the air slot.
As for wicking, get some Muji cotton. You'll need to find the right balance.
Too little cotton - leaks.
Too much cotton - flavor is muted.

What we're all using is actually cosmetic cotton pads.
If you can get Shiseido cotton, it'll work. As long as its organic and unbleached. Muji cotton is sold at the Muji shop. Not in Penang though. There's some sellers for Muji cotton on Garage Sales.
