LOL! I really don't know what u mean by "protruding". Does the +ve terminal rise above the top edge of the cylinder? I looked at those shopee sellers' photos...the anode appears to be flush with the top of battery...but then again it's late and my eyes are not what they used to be.

Yup a glossy wrap is very very VERY dodgy to me...and that's why I wrote in to LG Chem...still no reply from that chap I was referred to. Anyhoo..am still using Joenida's shiny HG2's...so far so good, no venting, no excessive heat. Depending on the build, I draw 7 to 9+ amps, so I'm not overtaxing them. The "agak-agak" time of usage and charging is about the same than my older matte-wrap HG2's. YMMV.

Yes you're absolutely right. Button topped 18650 batts do indeed exist. However I saw none of those in the Shopee sellers' ads. Made me wonder what they are all fussing about.

Unless u tilt it 90 degress , takes like 4-5 sec of tilt and it starts to leak out from the vent . But it's a dripper so even with 3ml of "tank" , it's not covered up fully like a standard tank

Solotech batts are most probably rewraps. Only four manufacturers: Sony, Panasonic, Samsung & LG. You should only buy these brands. Rewrap batteries usually claim high performance but its all untrue. Some unknown company isn't going to make a better battery than a billion dollar company.
If you want to buy LG HG2 batts, you can get it from Shopee/Alexng. I bought 5 from him & they're good. He's selling it now at RM22 each. Last day to get 30% discount. So buy a few batts.

I have the Goliath V2. I'll take the Crius over it. The Crius is way more user friendly. But I think my Goliath with black glass looks better.

and trust the seller
