noprob

its depend on ur Sport rim (inch , width) and also tyre ,it all affect.

but basically if u are using 15inch then upgrade to 16inch,ur car will have slower pick up in the beginning.

and ur brake might be slower compare with previously .

RE01R is more on street use as compare to the AD07 which is more use on track used.

How about the RE070... not cheap here, but can try to get it in S'pore.

off topic:
Give the T1R another try in SIC yesterday under rain & dry road. in the rain it seem hv better grip. but when the track dry out aiyooooo the car understeer like hell..... as compare to my other RS-2, this tire seem like lossing grip after a few laps run. but for day to day street drive on the T1R it is OK lah...

After I used up this T1R may look for the RE001.... hope can get more review about it on street used.

Hi guys,

I'm new to this thread but I would like to comment on something. It's about quicksave shop. I went there a couple days ago and bought Yokohama DB ES501 for RM 268 each. My car is Gen-2 with tyre size 195/55/R15. I spoke to the owner Leon and he really recommended this tyre with the size of 195/60/R15 because it's good if I want quiet and comfortable tyres. Went there and his staff asked me to adjust the camber which cost around RM 25 each. He said also that I need to change the right side of my camber and this cost me another RM 45. Total service charge including the camber was around RM 100 after I nego with his staff. Fyi, previously I used silverstone tyres which were noisy and wear fast. Once the work done, I received goodyear jacket from Leon and drove my car home. I felt a bit different from my previous tyres but on the quiet part I'm not really sure. I'm not really sure about the camber thing as I think that I was conned by his staff. I'm thinking on sending my wife's kancil to quicksave again but unfortunately I don't feel ok. I want to try sending the car to Kee Hin's shop as I read some promising comments on the sjop. Need cheann to comment on my story and also please let me know the shop whereabout as I'm staying in Kajang. I also not really familiar with the old klang area.

Added on August 20, 2007, 7:51 pmAnother thing. Any recommendation for brand new Kancil 660 standard size tyres? I want some comfortable and quiet type of tyres. Thanks.

Cheaann,

Thanks for the reply. That was what I think so la of being conned. Nevermind la. It is history already. I will learnt from my mistake. Can you give me the price list for kancil tyres? Do you have michelin tyre for kancil 660? What is the total amount if want to change all 4 tyres including alignment and balancing for kancil?

it's kinda rare nowadays cuz they more focus on selling 13inch n above cuz small tire like kancil less profit le. . . i do like d michelin tire fitted on my kancil b4 n lasted me about 50k of mileage...
i think better get brigdestone ba cuz at least better than goodyear
normally v jus change 4 d additional $30 4 d aligment+any tire u bought le. . .

you know any good shop? suprisingly the big tyre wheel "factory" Soon Huat in ayer keroh doesn't have much choice to begin with, esp for those who want to downgrade to smaller rims. Big doesn't mean better.

They're selling Barum Brillantis 185/60/13 for RM120, the size that I was looking for.
