guys...i just changed my Falken Ze912 front to Yokohama C-Drive 89v. 195/55/r15. cost me 399 for 2 pcs + allignment + rims repair. is it expensive?
i noticed the tyres is very noisy on uneven road. perhaps it was created for the smoother
japanese road in mind  sweat.gif
any feedback on the bridgestone 01 or something? the directional thread one? am planning to changed my 2 back tyres to this one in 2 months from now...

RM399 for that size is really overpriced, should be around RM250 only.

2 piece and 4 piece, the price normally the same and wont have much discount even if you change 4 piece together, if you see the first page, you will see that mostly is below RM250...

maybe your tyres are imported from japan, so maybe slightly more expensive compare to other tyres, like the toyo tyres, damn expensive.

Well his post said he spent RM399 for 2 new tyres + alignment + rim repairing.
Which resulted to the tyre may cost just RM170 to RM180 each.

While u said RM250 for total ?
I din know 195/55/R15 is so cheap nowadays.

Just add in. Try to do it early morning if your car hadn't been driven more than 5km. The newer the pump you refill at, the better, since most petrol stations don't recalibrate their pumps anyway.

allenultra, you got it icon_rolleyes.gif
1st time trying Yokohama C-Drive. it cost me RM399 for 2 new 195/55/r15. plus alignment and rim repair.
the shop actually repair my badly dented rim and added some sort of thing into it blush.gif
not sure if it was worth it but the owner told me it was imported from japan. 2008 tyres.
performance wise, the C-Drive is awesome. i can safely said...it was better than nct 5 or falken 912.
but noiise level on uneven surface is very obvious sweat.gif
i am planning to go for bridgestone my01 or something for the rear. any feedback on this tyres?
thanks.

me too, facing the same problem after changing my 2 front tyres from falken 912 to yokohama c-drive.
the shop pump 225 psi into the tyres. i deflated to 215psi and it help a little bit.
perhaps the thicker thread makes a different? hmm.gif

the stiffness of the sidewall of PP2 and NCT5 is very obvious, i just sit on a honda city with NCT5 at rear and PP2 in front, PP2 have stiffer sidewall and NCT5 have a softer sidewall with a very loud noise until i can hear what others talking while driving in highway, PP2 is way better....

you can let go the air until the tyres flatten or just pump like this also can, i recommend 33psi in front and 30psi at rear, or 32 psi in front

yesterday i go one of the petronas station near my college there to pump my tyres, i set it to 227kpa (around 32 or 33psi) then when i put in it show 215kpa, then suddenly jump to 250kpa, i was kinda shocked, maybe the pump is faulty? hmm.gif
