Very much depend on the broker, the bank and jurisdiction of the broker license. It's not compulsory to have the words on the name.

so as long as they hold at least a tier 1 license then it should be fine right?

Dr Fx,

On your first page, my opinion is that you might need to make a little bit of update since there are many top tier regulated brokers also holding off shore regulation now in order to offer high leverage trading environment to their clients.

Maybe you can suggest ranking of off shore regulation for brokers which doesn't hold Tier 1 regulation.
You can also provide your opinion on current trend where Tier 1 broker offering off shore regulation for high leverage trading.

Hi viruz,

We do not recommend any offshore broker without tier 1 or 2 regulation. Trade/invest at your own risk.

As long as tier 1 or 2 brokers on our genuine broker list, it will be fine regardless of trading under onshore or offshore for leverage benefit.

I accidentally bumped into this thread, while searching for this on google "Triumphfx Application". I had a little shock to read all some your postings here. By godsend, lucky to say that im still stuck at the "application pending" status which ive just signup for it 3 days ago.

I was recommended by a good contact of mine, whereby he invested close to USD100k and getting 7% 5 weeks cycle, sounds very good to me. He has been into this for close to 1.5 years.

Basically, people like me, who lost most of the projects/works due to MCO, this is one of THE 'lucrative' way of earning accumulated money from savings...

i've decided to stop funding my only savings i have into a SCAM entity. i cannot take the risk. Just wanna post here to thank Dr.FX, Terry and many others here that are seriously guiding & helping newbie like myself.

i will look into your Whitelist of traders and i need your advise, since im a newbie and have little less knowledge on trading, looking for Fund Managers to assist me out. Understand that they will have a cut few % that we make together, im find with that. Any recommendation on that?

Hi Colt M4A1,

WikiFX is a paid advertisement site which operate like a mafia in this industry, if you pay, get good rating even you are scam, if you dont pay, they rate you badly. By the way, WikiFX is owned by China people. Try search Maybank and Public Bank, you will get the answer.

The only rating we agreed with WikiFX is their rating about TriumphFX.

By the way, SamTradeFX ASIC AR license has been cancelled by the provider after found they are running as a SCAM FX.

DrFx, what is your opinion on cysec regulation? why is it not even in your Tier 2 list? I though Cysec regulation is no longer the same as few years back?

Cysec is one of the worst regulator. They are not responsive and your complains may end up with auto response email.

Given FBS has obtained Australia ASIC license early this year, we have added FBS into the genuine brokers list.

DrFX, how to check if a broker is holding segregation account? Some brokers are easily see on their wire transfer account where its clearly stated with word "client segregation", but some just broker company name even though it holds a proper regulation. I have tried before contacting their bank but they refused to disclose information due to privacy concern.
