Anyone tried FBS before? Looks legit but isnt in the list of Genuine Brokers. Would like to know if anyone had any bad experiences with them before?

Recently XM keep re-quoting me during entry when news is around the corner. But when enter small lot everything is fine.

FBS is an offshore broker without investor protections. Avoid it!

Any broker that allows news trading? I have tried many, their slippage is killing my account. So need those fast execution. And slippage small.

You may consider LMAX, UK FCA regulated with no last look. Meaning there will be no requote. They emphasized on speed and best pricing.

Through our introduction, minimum deposit is USD1000 only.

Slippage is normal when you use market orders during economical events, even in 'better' brokers.

Hey guys, What about GoldFX from Cambodia? Izit legal?

Personally I would use Golden FX Link if I wanted to trade in Cambodia.
1) They are the 1st brokerage to be regulated by Cambodia government.
2) I asked a friend based in Cambodia, he says few of the government officials have shares in the company.
3) This company belongs to daughter of some minister of Cambodia

That's all the info I could get. They don't have other regulated licenses. Anybody got additional info?

Thanks for the recommendation. I used lmax before, but if I am not mistaken, they are no pending order function. All are instant market orders. Even in the mt4, I placed pending order. To them, they will just trigger it when the price reach there. And they do not welcome news trader.

I am using pending order to avoid slippage. But even with pending orders, when the orders were triggered, it's still far from my pending orders.

You are probably using a market maker broker who can manipulate your trades. Using a true ECN network broker should not give you any slippage using a limit order. Unless you use pending Stop Orders

i am using straddle news trading method. pending buy and sell before the high impact news. The broker keeps telling me during news the slippage can be very high, but 20++ slippage is hard to swallow

Then it's a stop order. Even a reputable broker will have slippage during the news events.

There is not much other choice as comprehensive as MT4. AFAIK.

It's the market maker vs ECN profile that is more relevant to your trading pattern.
