Must not use "feelings" when it comes to stock trading/investment. Seems you are too excited over 50% cap gain . . . how to make >500% for any stock like that ? There have been no change in the fundamentals of Padini. If you exclude the "feelings" aspect, you basically sold without a logical investment reason.

Can keep sentiments at arms length and do not let it cloud your capable logic process. Try with just 1 lot of any good stock (in your opinion) and see what happens. whistling.gif

No need to be a big winner.

Objective of investing is to profit.

I run away to preserve my gains

Profit 100% with 1 stock or profit 10% with 10 stocks is no different to me - just want to profit

No need to boast of being multi bagger whatsoever biggrin.gif

Thinking if I should sell Mitra and average on Gadang.

Gadang bought at 2.41. Mitra 1.21.

U are proposing to do the above based on technicals point of view or fundamentals + risk & reward ratio?

Suggest to wait for Gadang results announcement and see how the market trades next week.

case 1: lets say u bought stock XXX at beginning of a rally at price RM1, u think price has topped at RM2 after few days and quit so u took profit.

case 2: u keep holding XXX until it make higher highs and until end of rally. u sold at RM10. u didnt sold at rm2, 3, 4 because u think you would lose the "low entry cost".

for example is supermx/topglov recently. i could made 400% profit already but i quit too early.
then i reenter, reexit, again and again making my short term profit smaller than holding since beginning.

like I've said, everybody have their methods

who cares if it works laugh.gif

some hunt for gems for multi baggers
and hold and wait

some just snap at any opportunities
make some gains and run

so many ways to do it biggrin.gif
