Hun, I suggest you let pinkies grow into small rats , about the same size as mice, then feed to your ball python. If you have too many of them , you can freeze them for future comsumption as well.

Argh.... I think my ballie likes mice liao.... took one of my frozen hoppers and he whack it fast....

I guess the supplier fed them mice. Because the rest that's with him took mice straight away.

Sigh... must wait till my rats become fuzzies... then must intro rats... somehow my rats produce faster than my mice... maybe my males not active or my females infertile.... wuuu....

1st rat(youngest) gave birth to 8 pinkies 3 days ago...

2nd rat(oldest) gave birth to 12 pinkies today....

Just a question, do the female rats argue over who is the mother? Coz mine did and they keep stealing each other's pups and some of the pups got bite wounds coz keep arguing.... Alan, you got this problem? I have seperated the 2 moms already....

Yah... it was a bit ganas to see coz 2 females pulling on 1 pup... scary to see....

Yes, it is quite normal for mothers to fight over pinkies. At times, pinkies get killed. I have tailless rat because of this. That is why we prefer to use solitary martenity ward in my rat farm. Once we detected a pregnant rat, she goes to ward.

Ohhh... thanks. Hahaha... didn't know they are so different from mice. Anyway, seperated.... still got 2 pregnant rats to go. Hahaha.... now my corn shedding period... but I think once he finished shedding.... he will have a jolly time with some pinkies.
