Guyz, for those who kept them as pet, did the snake bite when u hold them?? i mean like when u play with it, pulling its tail

The answer is NO, especially for ball pythons and cornsnakes. Of course for some species , they are very fighty.

Each of us MUST have knowledge of snakes so that we know exactly what risks are involved. I won't meddle with cobra, yet there are still people keep them as pet. Similarly, I don't meddle with retic personally, even though they can be real tame ... but one mistake, you can ended up dead. This is not to say we should not keep them as pet, if you do, make sure you abide all safety procedures closely.

As for me, I am not willing to take risk, even a small one. So, only small snakes and non-venomous ones are for me.

Yes, there are pet shops in penang selling cornsnakes. Just a bit pricey, but understandable. Please go and check them out, khaneys.

Boa ah? Definitely not within your budget already. For a budget < RM100, you can hardly get a collectors snake or a snake that you can handle.
