well..to solve the problem..u can buy frozen mice or rat for tht purpose...
as it's been frozen...all the bacteria died as well....
It's been practice by many snake keeper in d world...

tht's y retic price is down to the drain....It's so cute n nice when juveniles..when a retic gets above 7ft...u need huge space n minimum two person to handle it....unless u dont mind to camp in it's tummy....LOL

The truth had been proved...

move on brothers....nothing to prove anymore...

captive breed snakes are tame most of the time...eventually it depend also to which kind of snake u plan to keep...

there are few reason why snake bite (owner's fault)

-u did not prepare a feeding box for it ...so eventually...anything tht comes down to the enclosure...tht means food for him...including your hand.
-U did not wash your hand after handling mice/rat or feeder....tht the snake mistook it as his dinner...your hand...
-U should not play or mess around with his tail....as it's the most venurable part of the snake
-U bought a wild caught specimen....hau bo bak chap ~! cry no tears come out ~!

at first this might b weird or ugly...but buying frozen rodents is a good way ~!
plus point is the rodent is pre-killed for u ... all u need to do is just defrost it to feed em to the snake ~!
and the bacteria will lesser than the live rodent due to the temperature frozen...

Hun: I think only certain of pet shop listed in malaysia can beat u in the variety of pets....

jungle carpet python(Morelia spilota cheynei) is diffrent from mine...

mine is irian-jaya carpet python (Morelia Spilota Varigata)

where the later specimen is the smallest among all the carpets...average 4-5 ft but some are reported to grow up to 6-7ft
These are one of the more arboreal of the Morelia species...their color change from time to time frm baby to adult.
should u wish to purchase jungle carpet...I dont have any of it...should u wish the I/J ...I have 1 to offload...coz too many snake at times...
