Skynet,gdex,poslaju, u always heard, but they dont provide good service either.
Skynet lazy deliver after first attempt if nobody receive at the address
Gdex and poslaju thought they are leading company, their worker is LCLY n sound rude
Surereach lately did call me ask nicely cause im not home to receive the package, surereach ask to call them again to confirm delivery date. If gdex, ""u come our office collect! We already attempt delivery but u not at home!, else we return to poster!""

I tend to buy lots of small items in Taobao, in the pass I use an agent they will charge me +10% of the item as their fee, and about RM10-12 per kg weight/volumetric weight as air freight.

Is this normal price?
If you guys buy something expensive 1-2 items eg 1k or over will they give discount?

If i order lots of small products, they will come in lots of small boxes they will not bother opening up and consolidate to bigger box, so there is lots of wasted space.
I pretty sure they get a cut from the delivery fee too.
I dont mind paying the 10% as fee but their shipping fee just kills me, its usually more expensive then 10% fee.

My current agent dont do sea freight, I seen other people use see freight which is much much more cheaper but just have to wait a bit longer
You guys use sea freight before? recommend any agent.?

From my fren.. Skynet, poslaju and gdex so far ok, nvr lost an item before for so many years.. Skynet is friendly.. Gdex staff quite lc at office, but their driver is ok, will call me before delivering.. Nvr have any exp with sure reach before.

It really depends on area and the particular staffs.
When i was in Penang, Skynet sucks and Gdex good.
When i was in Ipoh, things are vice versa. And when i noticed Gdex delivery guys changed to someone else, their services improved a lot.
So it really depends on the workers of that particular area rather than the courier company.

Because third party agent shipping fees are usually cheaper. There are a lot of agents that doesn't charge agent fees and also provide cheaper per kg shipping rate. But most importantly, there are quite some range of products that the official shipping agent doesn't ship, like mobile phones and many computers related stuffs and also medical care stuffs. Third party agents can cover these kind of things although will charge a little bit more for them. And some third party agents who are really professional one can ship your items into Malaysia without kena custom charges and GST. Official shipping depends on luck, sometimes kena sometimes can get through. And one more reason is third party agent can help you open the courier packaging (when you combine shipping of different products) and stuff everything into one box, thus reducing dimensions and weight of shipping effectively, while official shipping agent will not do this. But of course the big downside of third party shipping is that you need to find a really trustworthy agent.

Ordered my PS4 games from Gemfive on 2 & 3 Jan during the weekend. Got my games this morning from Sure-Reach. The courier even gave me a call when my university college office refused to accept the package, which was weird considering they had accepted deliveries from other couriers before. After I had taken the package myself, the tracking status got updated instantly to 'Delivered'. Good job to Sure-Reach in JB. The merchant of the PS4 games turned out to be SP&K Game Mart. They had also sent me the tax invoice.
