Yes i've contacted GEMFIVE but they said their Customer Service team will only reply me on Monday because Sat and Sun offday. I noticed both of these items' price tag was markeup up now on Gemfive website. I suspect this Aone Plus merchant don't want to sell it at that cheap price so they send me a lousier product. F them, i prefer them to simply cancel my order and refund the money rather than sending a lousy product to me.

Hey guys,

Wanna buy an external 2 tb hdd from gemfive.

Which one is better in terms of reliability? Seagate or Adata?

Anyone using them?

Thanks
*
There are only three HDD manufacturer in the world right now, ie Western Digital (WD Brand and HGST brand), Seagate and Toshiba (Toshiba and Hitachi brand).
Other companies buy from them and slap their own brand name onto it.

need to find something worth RM1 before can qualify for take50b, care to recommend any junks that i can add to my cart?  laugh.gif

G5 is not like LAZ, most if not all of its item need shipping fees. So if you add a RM5 junk, you probably need to pay extra RM7 or RM9 shipping fees too.

last time bought this monitor on lzd for RM509

24" slim bezel and got VA panel and built in speaker. Color quality and viewing angle far better than cheapo 23-24" TN-panel monitor. TN-panel monitor not for human use

At that price, good deal already for casual user.
*
Absolutely agree on that. Wan budget monitor, go VA panel. Want mid end monitor, go IPS panel. Want high end monitor, go 4K 120Hz 21:9 10-bit 32" IPS curve panel. icon_rolleyes.gif

If you use dupe accounts to buy from G5, remember not to overdo it, especially regarding your delivery address and hp no. If they found out too many orders got identical address and details, they'll simply cancel your order. They manually verify your order one, not automatically through computer. You dun want to get your order cancelled at G5 one, because it is a pain in the ass long and tedious process to get back your refund money.

i bought this Logitech M600 yesterday using discount 30%.

i check same item at Lazada/Lelong all price around $ 180-200 11street just for $59.90 & after discount 30% only for $42.xx.

anyone using this mouse ?
*
I guess Logitech were clearing old stocks preparing for new products releases. Noticed Aone Plus was selling some Logitech products very cheap lately. They all have one thing in common: Released back at 2012 or earlier. The only logical explanation is inventory clearing.

Nvm, its just RM30 (worth RM60 product) but i "earned" like about RM800 lol.
Infact i did emailed (and called) to them and threaten to complaint to MCMC and Consumer Association and they reply go ahead lol
*
Don't worry.
For example if you use account A to buy an item, finish payment and waiting for delivery. Then the 11street management team suspend your account due to multiple account creation, then that item that your paid for will still be delivered. The downside is that you can't ask for return or cancellation because you can longer access that account. So what this means is that, if the item arrive safe and sound and not defective, then it's all fine, and all you that lose is simply a 11street account. But if the item is defective, then you have to contact the seller on your own and try your luck. And it's useless complaining to 11Street customer service, they are very lcly one. You threathen to report them, they always replied go ahead one. Very bad attitude. I've experienced good and bad customer service from each of them, be it 11Street, Gemfive, Lazada, Shopee and Qoo10. All have bad eggs in the basket. Which is why i only purchase stuffs when there are big discount. Otherwise it's not worth to take the risk. If prices are more or less the same, undoubtly i will go to a retail store.

Guys 11street usually how long before shipment?

I bought yesterday and today status still showing payment complete.
*
Depends on the seller. After payment complete, seller will get notification. If they confirm order, then the status will become "Preparing for Shipment". When they shipped out the item and upload the tracking no then the status will become "Shipping in Progress". Lastly when courier company confirm item delivered then status is "Shipment complete".

But if you wait for a long time and the status is still "Payment complete" or "Preparing for Shipment" and you decided enough is enough, then you can click cancel order button. Cancel order usually takes 1-3 days to confirm cancellation and then refund process takes another 7-14 working days if my memory serves me well.

just received the rm49 deerma vacuum....came with full accessories but with 2 pin china plug.
*
I received the two i bought too just now. Thank god they arrived safe and sound. This is the first time i purchase from G5 in the past three months. And 2 units of them for the price of RM49 is a steal. They work fine but damn loud. A 600W vacuum as loud as my 2000W Sharp Vacuum, holy shit. The 2-pin plug is a downside, but a UK 3-pin adapter is very cheap only.

Editting spelling errors.

No more aldy. The price of RM49 went back to normal RM149 now. And the voucher TAKE50B is no longer valid. Kudos to G5 for honoring price glitch.

Currently this item cheapest price is on 11street for RM109.

definitely faster, sd801 on par mi4.. redmi series won't stand a chance.
*
You are both right and wrong.
MT6795 aka Helio X10 is 8-core 64-bit ARM A53 at 2.0-2.2Ghz,
Snapdragon 801 is 4-core Krait-400 at 2.0-2.5Ghz, which is based on 32-bit A15 core albeit tweaked and modified.

CPU performance wise,
In single thread performance, SD801 demolish MT6795.
In multi thread performance, MT6795 demolish SD801.
But A15 cores are power hungry, even 4 of A15 will consume more power than 8 of A53.

GPU performance wise,
Adreno 330 on SD801 demolish the PowerVR G6200 on MT6795.

Memory performance wise, MT6795 is way faster. Storage performance also favors MT6795.

Last but not least, LTE connection. Needless to say, Qualcomm is way ahead of MTK in this field.

So both has their strength and weakness. There's no clear winner.

Your answer is purely theoretical. SD801 use custom Krait 400, not standard Cortex A15 one, is it?

My RN2 battery life is horrible, even worst than Meizu M2 Note, Lenovo K3 Note I bought before. So I think no different with G3 with its 2k display.
*
My answer is not theoretical. I'm owner of both Redmi Note 2 and Asus Padfone S.
Btw, you compared M2 Note and K3 Note which uses a MT6753 to a Redmi Note 2 which uses MT6795 and claim because RN2 has lower battery life than the former two, therefore it is worse than Snapdragon 801.
Do you even realise that M2 Note and K3 Note uses MT6753 and MT6752 SoC respectively?
MT6752 is a 8-core 1.7Ghz A53 CPU+Mali T720 MP2 GPU.
MT6753 is a 8-core 1.3Ghz A53 CPU+Mali T720 MP3 GPU.
MT6795 is a 8-core 2.0-2.2Ghz A53 CPU+PowerVR G6200 GPU.
Both of them are lower clocked and lower performance in terms of CPU and GPU performance, and not to mentioned their RAM speed and all other feature sets.
This is like comparing an i3 CPU to an i5 CPU and claim the i5 is shitty, because it consumes way more power than the i3.
And Krait 400 is a custom modified A15 cores from Qualcomm, it performs much better than generic A15 it does not consume any lesser power.

having problem with 11street android app payment using credit card and online banking. When I click Pay, the message "We are redirecting you to our payment page" appear and remain for 5 minutes. I can't pay at all.
Any advice?
*
Simple. Close your app. Turn on your pc or open your phone browser, login your account, go to view order then click the pay now button.
Now you can bypass the buggy app. You only need to use the app to make order in case you want to utilize app only vouchers. If you face problem paying through app, then just use pc browser or phone browser to complete the payment.

Thanks for your reply. I tried that but desktop version didn't allow me to apply 50% voucher & free shipping. That's why I have to pay using app.
*
You didn't understand my answer.
Use your app to make the order. When you reach making payment, it stuck there, then you simply close it. Now your order is made, but in the process of awaiting payment because you didn't complete your payment just now.
Now you can simply complete your payment by login using pc browser or mobile browser.

TLDR, Use your app to make order and then use your browser to complete the payment. This method is only exclusive for 11street app and Qoo10 app.

So this method doesn't work for Lazada, Rakuten, Groupon n Gemfive?
*
Groupon and Rakuten dunno, i didn't use their app.
But LAZ and G5 sure cannot. Once payment failed the order will fail too. No "extended time" payment allowed.
11street and Qoo10 sure can. And as wcypierre pointed out, this works for Taobao app too.
I miss those days when i still shop from Taobao. But after those damn idiots suspend my account after i login with different IP, i longer shop at Taobao. Boycott those ccb idiots.

From my fren.. Skynet, poslaju and gdex so far ok, nvr lost an item before for so many years.. Skynet is friendly.. Gdex staff quite lc at office, but their driver is ok, will call me before delivering.. Nvr have any exp with sure reach before.
*
It really depends on area and the particular staffs.
When i was in Penang, Skynet sucks and Gdex good.
When i was in Ipoh, things are vice versa. And when i noticed Gdex delivery guys changed to someone else, their services improved a lot.
So it really depends on the workers of that particular area rather than the courier company.

Why need to go through agent while you can use TaoBao offical shipping service?
*
Because third party agent shipping fees are usually cheaper. There are a lot of agents that doesn't charge agent fees and also provide cheaper per kg shipping rate. But most importantly, there are quite some range of products that the official shipping agent doesn't ship, like mobile phones and many computers related stuffs and also medical care stuffs. Third party agents can cover these kind of things although will charge a little bit more for them. And some third party agents who are really professional one can ship your items into Malaysia without kena custom charges and GST. Official shipping depends on luck, sometimes kena sometimes can get through. And one more reason is third party agent can help you open the courier packaging (when you combine shipping of different products) and stuff everything into one box, thus reducing dimensions and weight of shipping effectively, while official shipping agent will not do this. But of course the big downside of third party shipping is that you need to find a really trustworthy agent.
