I'd be inclined to look for a connector somewhere near the evaporator, sorry but I don't know where it is on our FLX but there should be one that has a wire coming from the evaporator which would have a thermistor on the end of it that would lie in close quarters with the evaporator, this provides feedback to tell the A/C to rest up a while because the evaporator has frozen up, a problem as you folk are likely quite aware how bad a home refrigerator works when the ice builds up in the freezer, although I suppose most of you here are too young to recall how 50 y/o used to do that all too often.
Anyway my hint is to look for the wires and do checks upon them.

My aircon problem is solved already. Members here guessed correct that thermostat sensor switch is the cuplrit that caused the tube connecting to cooling coil become frozen. Of course, the mechanic conned me first by changing the cooling coil which cost me around rm530. The switch cost about rm35 only.. :sigh:

But now i got new problem, after i drive slowly there a nyek nyek like metal grinding sound from the back. To me the sound probably originated from the bonnet. After i did a google-fu, most thread suggested it is probably the rear torsion axle problem.. damn it proton..

anyone knw what is the problem of my car?
When idling, I can hear very slightly"tikus" sound coming from the left side of my engine bay
(near timing belt there, but is not timing belt sound)..

When lalu double line, the "tikus" sound is damn obvious...
Anyone one knw is it something loose?

yes battery too low to start your engine. jump start will just fine. after jump start, remember to drive without aircond approx. 15 minutes or 10-20km without aircond to fully charge your battery first. if your battery after that still cannot start, the battery is a goner.

there has been report that jump started a cannot start flx will resulted in tcu koyaked. 50/50 chance. better change battery than change tcu. we in here are just to alert.
specifically for flx cvt only.

I tried b4 my flx jump start by an exora cps, I did tried before jump starting P2kenari, Honda jazz, city and Hyundai accent

1) Do my habit listening to radio/mp3 without engine turned on will effect battery life?
2) Which battery brand give good battery life? Got offer here RM233 (+gst and old battery trade-in) for GP/Bosch battery
3) Any recommendation for car workshop around Kota Warisan / Salak tinggi? Plan to go either today or tomorrow.
