Property market is down at the moment so I think you can score a good deal on rental if you look around.

Rentals for HDB drop also, but not as significant as condo. In 2011 my rental was $2.3k, 2013 $2.2k, 2015 $2.0k.

1. But increment and inflation higher in M'sia. Good and bad...

Nah inflation is not the same. I'm not in the finance industry but just based on what I "feel". Everytime I on holiday back to M'sia, I can feel that prices are like increasing exponentially. Just take one plate of fried rice. I think the price in KL has probably gone from RM4 to RM6/7 in the last 5 years. In SG probably still the same price at the same store or maybe just $0.5 increase.

Just use CPI index, a measure of inflation by government. Can compare between each country.

inflation in MY is far higher than SG.. maybe 7% in MY vs 3% in SG.. Thing is most msians waste money while d msians in SG r stingy..

Here not like M'sia. Here most other banks require deposit. Only POSB/DBS don't. But it depends IINM. I didn't pay a cent to open my account.

When I open account, I give EP but the counter staff asked me to give IC instead. Don't even need my passport.

If more than 183 days, SG Gov consider you SG resident (not citizen, just resident. Not PR too). Then they give you lower tax rate (resident rate). Otherwise if you stay less than 183 days, they tax you 15%. This is so that you don't suka suka come in and go. Most probably for manpower control.

I think such rule exists in other countries too.

Ya always on roaming. Roaming no charge. Receiving those SMS also no charge. Receive personal SMS and calls I'm not sure

No people call me on the number d. I only on the second sim when I back to M'sia or when I need to use M2U.
