That's why for our company, we enforced that all leavers exiting from Malaysia must do tax clearance before leaving country, then only we release their last drawn salary. Then, they don't need to file for income tax before 30th April.

When you swap the sim card, there will be a pop-up in Whatsapp to ask you if you want to keep the existing number(MY) or change to the new number(SG). If you change to the new number, Whatsapp will auto add that number to all of the group chats.

As for the single person chat, it will appear as a new chat in your friend's phone when you text them.

I'm using dual SIM card phone now, one for my personal and one for my corporate line.
So for my own personal line, I use the native WhatsApp app, the corporate line is on another app called - Disa. Easy peasy, problem solved to have two WhatsApp accounts in one phone.

Do not consider landed house & car, is this a downgrade for my life? I don't go luxury food, clubbing..etc. Just average console gamer, occasionally buy some Lego, go oversea travelling with my wife once a year (mostly Asia/Australia region)...

Indeed 4.1k sgd seems low to me.
Indeed I am eager to move out from Msia with my wife, not easy to msia to get an offer in SG if you demand high pay, they would rather go for local if they can afford.
I think that's the reason they look for malaysian, will try to nego a bit see can press higher or not.

Yeap, my wife will follow me to work here as well. She has her own profession in medical line which is very easy for her to secure a job.
At least stay here for 2 years, if we like it here of course stay here permanently and eventually build our family here.
Else just go back to boleh land if still has chance to go back

I might sound a bit desperate, but I have been searching for an offer for almost 1 year+
None of them offer more than SGD4.5k.

There was once I almost took the offer, the HR also a malaysia, he told me they will go for local to save all the hassle (paper work, permit, worry you can't survive in sg...etc) if they willing to pay higher package, no point to look for malaysian. Unless that person is extraordinary, very talented.
But at the end I still reject the offer because that' what I thought, too low and no extra allowance.

Now another half a year, I am still getting the same range of offer, with some allowance, and this is the job scope that I kinda prefer, hence I am quite tempted now.

I'm trying to schedule up another interview on the same day if possible. Will proceed with the interview if there's another one so that I can save on another trip, otherwise I'm probably going to reject this one.

I have checked on AirAsia and found a return flight of RM200+ on the same day, considering from TBS via KLIA transit will be roughly RM280+-. Taking bus will be around RM100-RM130 only but it will take 5+5 hours so it seemed to be quite tiring for a day trip, and also excluding the immigration side might take another hour or so.

I have also checked on Agoda and it almost cost RM200 a night for accommodation, seemed too expensive from my budget hmm... Anyway thanks for your recommendation!

BTW wondering if anyone working with a Japanese MNC in Singapore please give some info about it (Lifestyle, culture, etc), I'm trying not to group the entire "Japanese Culture" a bad tray of eggs just because one of the bad egg I have tried. But so far from a few of the review I read from glassdoor for the company I'm scheduled with seemed to have the same kind of problem I faced before. 

Currently i work in kl as software engineer , thinking work at sg.  Should i resign first then only find job ? Or after secured a job in sg only resign from currebt position ?

I got the verbal offer from HR last week and I accepted it. And 2 days ago, I asked for written offer letter and benefit but till today still no reply. Anything weird ?  Should I continue searching for new job then ?
