I completed with Mystea, Marie, DV, Orlandu and Ayaka.

Among the 3 you've listed, I think Victoria is the most potent DD, but is also potentially squishy.

But unless you have some 5* mages along with top tier TMRs, it's probably easier to gear for physical DPS.

Been awhile since I fought Sol, but I remember he was one tough SOB.
Who are you chaining with? A pair of eTTs would probably make short work of him.
And he seems to have quite a bit of elemental resistances; probably best to drop Hoemaru from Luneth.

If you know exactly what aspect you're lacking in, I can put together a friend unit for you.
I can at least offer the following:
- Organyx DV
- eTT about 800ish MAG
- Ayaka

Esper can stay; it doesn't affect your attack's element. Ifrit boosts your physical DPS' stats too.

Finally got around to downing Malboro.
Went in first with 2B and DV with pods and wiped on turn 111.
Went in again with a pair of eTTs and got the job done on turn 20. Imba

As always, pull on KM banners for the bonus units to allow for more efficient ELT/LGD farming.

I already had 4 Wakkas saved up from before so threw in about 10 tickets just for kicks - pulled 2 Seymours.

His innate EVO MAG meant that for the first time, I could field an all-bonus team for LGD ^^

Agree that Ayaka/LM Fina would be the key target for any re-roll account.
Any other role, the gap between top and second-tier is not as vast.
Ayaka's ability to full heal the whole team PLUS raise/re-raise another team member, or dual re-raise is huge.

Second priority should be physical chainers, only because I find them easier to build and are not as squishy as the mages.
Having one of either Orlandeau/Dark Veritas/Sephiroth would come in handy, as you can always find a friend unit as a chaining partner.

Magic chainers are great if you can afford to gear them up, but you'll want to run an MP battery with them to sustain their usually high MP cost.
I'm also not a fan of the set-up nature of magic DPS, with BSS needing a few turns to ramp up Final Thunder's damage, and TT needing a setup turn for Magical Activation.

5* base tanks (Wilhelm, Basch) are good to have, but the 4* cast (WoL, VoE, Cagnazzo, Mystea, Shylt) are more than adequate.

Finishers rank last in the order of priority for me, simply because of the effort involved to gear them, and also the lack of flexibility they bring to the team.
The exception to this case is Garnet, who is proving time and again to be a cheap and cheerful finisher with Bahamut, but can also double up as a healer.

I'm currently running CG Sakura for KM event. If you can provide 2x AoE chainers, single-cast Quick Rebel Intention can finish all LGD mobs.

I got lucky and picked one up after about 30 tickets and 1 10+1 pull - plus a boatload of Shylt's along the way

Got 36 3* and 3 4* return tickets - that's 180k free lapis spent on summons in a year of playing

Nothing wrong with VoE, especially with his recent enhancements.
Synergizes well with CG Nichol too with break resistance.

I've been using WoL/Mystea for most trials before getting A. Rain last week, so they're definitely still viable units.

Mediena for me will be just for her TMR, but she seems to be a pretty decent ice finisher.
