But in saying that, I don't have enough resources to go after multiples, so no chance at 7* for these guys.

I should be able to muster up 25k lapis in time for the step up, plus the 30-odd tickets I have - not much of a hoard haha.

Ayaka (even at 6*) has been a game changer for me with DC reraise and self-dispelga.

If you find yourself struggling with heals at trials, it may not be a bad idea to UoC Ayaka.
That way, even if you were to pull another one in the future, you can go ahead and 7* her.

Threw all I had to the 14k step-up, got my 4th VoF, 3rd Aileen and 4th Barbie

0 lapis now, but I'm not complaining.

I have both CG Nichol and 7* Zarg. As a buffer, I've stuck with Nichol for more straightforward rotations, but Zarg probably brings more to the table than just buffing.

Phys DPS will bring you a long way so don't worry about mages for now.

6* A. Rain and Bosch are very capable magic tanks. A top tier healer will bring you a bigger upgrade than 7* A. Rain.
Ayaka was a game changer for me, and I always recommend having a top tier healer in your team composition over any other role.
Every other role has decent subs/alternatives, but the gap between Ayaka/LM Fina over any other healer is very very wide.

Dual wield should be first priority for TMRs. I would prioritise damage TMR over tank stuff.

It's raining trust moogles right now, and raids are always good avenues to grind trust if you don't macro.

With IW, I never get any of the rares
Been doing IW since it started and usually go up to 180-200k points, and have only seen one rare so far (high tide on Bowie knife)!

I do my 5-a-day for arena for the free 40 lapis (every bit counts when you're F2P!).
At the very least, should do once a day for 20 lapis and trophies IMO.

This game feeds off a person's impatience (rage pulling and impulse lapis purchasing).
Take it easy, play at your own pace, have good friends on your list and you'll slowly get there.

Killian's scarf and doublehand doesn't work with 2H weapons.

Not really a direct comparison as they're different types of tanks, but for versatility in general content, I would go Basch.

He can be geared to reach 100% evasion and 100% provoke with Moogle Plushie. He can switch to magic tanking in a pinch if needed, and he can break 45% AoE.

Hyoh is very TMR intensive to gear. Without TDH gear and level 30 LB, he's not that imba.

If you're still only midway through the game, I'd hold off on that uoc.
