this season our suppose title contender is having so much inconsistencies.. so much so that the one leading the league is Leicester! between city, man utd and arsenal, i think city still hold the edge to come out on top, with arsenal coming very close. and i hate to admit this, arsenal might also end up as the champion for this season!
i like the simplicity of Leicester's gameplay. simple pass to the middle, spread to wide area (mahrez and the other guy) and then always look for vardy. vardy's job? anticipate where the ball will land and then try to get a goal. ours? 1) look for either fabregas or matic - no problem on this. always happen. 2) look for wide players hazard/azpi or willian/iva - no problem on this. always happen. 3) wide players attempt to cut inside - at which time the box will be filled with defenders 4) float the ball back to fabregas and wait for opponent to MAKE mistake 5) 2, 3, 4 restart again until we lose the ball... we make simple things complicated... |

Better yet: pass to Fab/Matic, pass to trident (quadrant in ytd case), pass around for 5mins, lose ball, repeati like the simplicity of Leicester's gameplay. simple pass to the middle, spread to wide area (mahrez and the other guy) and then always look for vardy. vardy's job? anticipate where the ball will land and then try to get a goal. ours? 1) look for either fabregas or matic - no problem on this. always happen. 2) look for wide players hazard/azpi or willian/iva - no problem on this. always happen. 3) wide players attempt to cut inside - at which time the box will be filled with defenders 4) float the ball back to fabregas and wait for opponent to MAKE mistake 5) 2, 3, 4 restart again until we lose the ball... we make simple things complicated... |

it's d same old same old thing if we wanna talk bout it. Since d 2nd half of last season, teams dy noe our playing style and adopted to it. That's why mou change from attacking to winning 1-0 from early season to the 2nd half of the season.
Now mou trying to use the early season method, nice football to try to win game, but he dy forgot that teams have already got used to our playing style and countering us. |

I don't believe in "the better side, unlucky, referee all out to foul everytime or we are deserving a win" anymore.
Counter or "parking", it's no more. It's like watching BR trying out "systems" and churn out draw/lose results. |

I've got no word to say for this lost. I feel like we are slowing things down and we are like short of ideas to break opponent's defense.. I hope we play Remy for the game against Porto. Come on, give him a chance to prove himself.

If anyone read jose's post match interview,I have to disagree with his stance that we'll "never be fighting relegation, no chance, yada, yada.."
Say what jose? Emm did you misplace your reading glasses or something? I think this is exactly the kind of 'arrogant' attitude we need to avoid,in order to survive this season. Stop with the misplaced overconfidence, because there's sure as hell no room for that this season,we need to stick a friggin' 5 x 5 metre poster highlighting our team's current position in the dressing room in big bold red letters,so everyone is made aware of how serious the whole situation is. Never battling relegation..oh please jose. Please stop. That's the last thing the players AND fans need to hear right now, because we need to accept that's what this season is turning into. The sooner we accept that the better. Stop the delusional talk of a top six finish in public, save it for the dressing room until we at least reach the upper half of the table. There's no shame in admitting we have an extremely serious problem, and we're now reduced to battling the epl basement dwellers. Deal with it. Enough sugar-coating because because we're not fooling anyone. |

QUOTE(DeadlyPollo @ Dec 6 2015, 05:32 AM) I can see us going out of the CL with a defeat against Porto at this rate. Porto is a much, much more better side compared to AFC Bournemouth whom are fighting to survive relegation for f*ck sakes.. Especially when the likes of Ivanovic AND Fabregas gets to play every single matches cause Mourinho loves them too much. Sometimes abit too much, how hard is it for the likes of RLC to even get some chances for a crack at the first team ? How are we even suppose to motivate our youth players with the way we are giving them chances currently ? I know...!!!!!! Its mind boggling isnt it??? Why aren't he put RLC with matic?? He's refusal to try is what irritates me most. We are NOT winning anything this season, we won't win f*ck all. So why won't Mourinho experiment something different ? Maybe by playing RLC instead of Fabregas OR starting Remy as a striker instead of playing Bournemouth at HOME without strikers.... I also cannot understand why Azpi was dropped for Ivanovic. |

Well, maybe can look at it this way. Imagine if Mou did said this during the post match interview, 'Yes, the team is struggling, every player is not doing well, i am clueless, we are in relegation battle, if u ask me will we be relegated, I will say yes, we are down there fighting for survival.' Say what jose? Emm did you misplace your reading glasses or something? I think this is exactly the kind of 'arrogant' attitude we need to avoid,in order to survive this season. And also if Mou himself oso said to public that we are gonna get relegated, that will affect the team spirit. Players will wanna leave in the January window. And also he will be sacking himself if he said the sentence above, it's like saying, yes, i am totally useless, i can't bring the team back to the top half of the table. Basically the sentence will push him nearer to being sacked. the best thing to do now is to say we'll stay up in the press but in the backroom, baru open fire at the players. The last thing we need is the gaffer himself announcing a chaos. If Mou himself said we'll be relegated, he'll lose the backing of the players, staffs and the board dy. A manager that is not even confident if his team is staying up? That is not the sort of message to send to the media/public. Need to smile, and be confident, but in the backroom, give the team hairdryer moment. |

Of course not to the extent of declaring 'yes we're going to be relegated,' but be man enough to admit that yes,"we're practically battling relegation at the moment with our inconsistent performances." It's that proud insistence that we'll 'never' be battling relegation that bothers me. What type of message will it gives to the fans and the board? As bad as things are, nid to jaga image oso. Need to smile, and be confident, but in the backroom, give the team hairdryer moment. The way I see it,we're already in a relegation battle and I'd rather we accept that horrible fact right now until we claw ourselves up the table, rather than wait till we're only left with 5 - 7 games, then suddenly realise,oh sheet we're only 3 points off the dropzone. Even if the whole team collectively sheet their pants,at that moment it's not going to help us at all. We need to stop being in denial. None of that top six finish talk because i feel it gives the players a false sense of security. the last team that truly believed it was 'too good to go down' was Leeds, and they had some amazing players such as viduka and kewell. I fear the way we're going about things and our seemingly confident mantra of being 'too good to go down,' will only land us in more trouble. Players like matic, cesc, ivanovic,(just to name a few) they all seem to really believe that, because its showing in their performances. |
