but the wierd parts is~ after the updates... its like ... what ? 2 week plus~. then it comes with the 3 red light... hm...

and there is actually 2 updates..

one is the fall update.. and the other is the 1080p fix update

I think the 1080p fix update should be the 1 causing problems as after I update the fall 1 then no issues but just after the 1080p fix then immediately freezes very very frequent in 2 days then on the 3rd days gone with 3ROD.

Did msoft announce for any fix now?

Well, mine got kaput 2 weeks ago, do some research on the net on how to fixed it and tried almost everything but failed. However, today, I decided to open up my box and stripped it to the bone. Still don't know what to do, feeling a little bit frustrated I bang the heatsink a few time with the screwdriver and put my fan on the 3rd gear with the DVD Rom out of the box (still connected) and tried to play GOW (finger crossed). AND IT WORKS..it is a miracle...after two of my fingers bleeding (kena heatsink..be very carefull..tajam)..lastly it is good as new. But dare not to ruin it again, I decided not to put it back together. I wish I have a camera so I can show all of you how the 360 look like after I open it up...(anyway, as long as it can play games I am happy with it)

BTW how many Lowyat forumer got the 3 rod problem? Do you guys play overnight or it's just went wrong in sudden?

gasp. really respect! have to modify a bigger casing ler, if u intend to place the dvd-rom further away from those heat. anyway, its funny ur 360 came back to live after tasting its owner's blood - LoL, macam science fiction or CtrlAtlDel comic strip

it doesnt matter how long you play...long hours wont cause 100% 3rod...
i guess its the update that killed my 360 or its the power supply problem
