1st card reloaded rm50, no reload charge
2nd card reloaded rm50, no reload charge
credit card charged rm101 (rm1 surcharge for rm100 combined reload amount for both cards. luckily not rm1x2 surcharge)
now let's wait for cashback next week

just go counter. the staff quite proficient in reloading tng.
yesterday nite i purposely reload 2 tng cards, to see what is the surcharge amount, whether RM1x2 or RM1 only.
reason i did that because the 1% surcharge is multiple of RM1.00.
e.g.
RM50 reload, RM1 surcharge (rounded up)
RM100 reload, RM1 surcharge <------ this is the sweet spot for multi-card reloads* e.g. RM50 x 2 cards.
RM150 reload, RM2 surcharge (rounded up)
RM200 reload, RM2 surcharge
RM250 reload, RM3 surcharge (rounded up)
RM300 reload, RM3 surcharge
when i reload, i made it pretty sure they only swipe the card for RM101, but reload RM50x2 cards.

if the cashback works, 8% of RM101 is RM8.08
*considering the reloads doesnt have RM0.53 service charge per reload (by most merchants out there), this is quite good.

surcharge only applicable on rm100 reload, right? if split into two reload at rm50 each, then no surcharge?
as above.
you cannot run away from surcharge imposed by the staff.
