Once bought the card, quickly register it at online portal so that at least we are aware the expiry date of the said card. My 2 cents.

I planned to give to my colleagues who just came to Malaysia that time, let them register under their name and it never crossed my mind that those cards will have issues because just bought from the toll during promo.

In that case, purely bad luck then.

Speaking of Sams Groceria, I talked to one of the friendly staff there on whether they are loosing money by providing ePay service by using cc payment. She said that they are not loosing money at all, but their profit is more if customers pay cash. They have some kind of agreement with ePay.

In summary, maybe it's safe to say that the service will not be discontinued by Sams, which is good news for us.

p/s: afterall, it's just what I've heard from her. If she lie, then I lie too. tongue.gif

it doesn't matter. what we mean to refer to post #1 is that everything you need to know is all there.

I did not see any related to mymydin, that's why I asked here.

I know mydin can reload, but mymydin is another chain of mydin.

Thanks for understanding me about mymydin, but not mydin.

But have you ever tried to reload TnG there at MyMydin?

Wondering whether it accept or not.

My area no sam no mydin, only mymydin, but still 8-10km to go, so hope to get some clue before going.

TQ

the thing is whatever we know, we reported here and thus it's updated at post #1. if you can't see anything that you want at post #1, please try and report back here. there is no point of asking something that nobody know at the moment.

search this topic and older topics to read what happened.

post 1 listed one remaining outlet. supposedly not accept anymore. you go try.

all mymydin stopped accepting cc to reload tng. mine was back in 2014, then they stopped.

regular users would know this. new users wouldn't.

Before I changed new job, I used to reload at Sam at Kota Damansara, and I'm sure @fruitie knew about that since we had a few conversation over here about Sam.

I wasn't notice anything about mydin can reload until recently I changed new job and know it from someone else.

I did search over here, perhaps the old report was in V2 and V1. That's why it did not appear over here.

And in the first post, I would suggest you to put a list that not accept anymore include the mymydin since you said not anymore, instead of keep asking to refer post 1. Else no point to start a forum thread for discussion, can simply make a form for reporting where can reload which is much sufficient, isn't?

anyway, thanks for the input.

item will only be removed if 2 reports came from users.

1 time report, i would still keep it first.

why?

1) to prevent trolls/irresponsbile users from messing the list. imagine, if everyday, one user come to "report" this location not accept cc, then I remove it. then tomorrow, same user make another report of another location. then i remove it. by end of the month, 30+ locations removed.

2) it could also due to untrained staff manning the reload counter or intermittent downtime or other short-term issue. regular readers will know this, some outlets have issues from staffs. i personally encountered at Sam's (certain staffs blatantly told me not accept cc to reload, whereas others can reload).

3) once is a chance, twice is a pattern. 1 report could be a temporary fluke, but if receives 2 or more reports that a certain location doesnt accept cc, then it's safe to say the particular location stopped accepting cc to reload tnc. simple. clean. easy to manage.

lowyat.net IS a forum, not a google form.

this topic (its predecessor or successor threads) serves as platform for crowsourcing information from genuine contributors and readers. it benefits both and you were too.

this topic also serves as a discussion forum to discuss relevant matters in reloading tng using cc.

if you start a form-based tool, where do you ask questions? who should answer a question?

e.g. Lazada www.lalalaxx.com. there's a supporting topic in /k/ too to discuss relevent codes, but the www.lalalaxx.com page doesnt have discussion function.

do share your ideas and where/how/who/when to do this thumbup.gif

p/s: MyMydin @ post 1. It is stated as "may not be accepting CC". not confirmed, yet to receive 2nd report to validate the info. if received, then i'd remove it and you wouldnt even have to argue its existence biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Finally succeed to reload RM 200 in second attempt today. One of the counters didn't go through, so I went to my favourite CS counter since the sweet girl was there. Got it done without hassle.

Hopefully yesterday's 2 voided and today's 1 voided of RM 200 transactions will not be posted. sweat.gif

I asked about the ePay service and they are happy to continue providing this service. laugh.gif
