QUOTE(cucikaki @ Dec 12 2015, 11:41 AM) Omg exactly...i have the same problem. Just went to honda this morning. But suddenly the sound disappear, go jalan2 around the area with 2 and then 1 passenger also dont have already... Haha...welcome to enjoy Honda's hospitality. But surely esok lusa the tuk tuk sound come back. I complaint my aircond got asap from outside come in especially if youre driving behind lorry or those motocycle that hot a lot of asap...they say it's normal. I dont get it how it is normal when youre BRAETHING CARBON MONOXIDE AND GOD KNOWS WHAT'S IN THE SMOKE... and also complaint my door cannot close firmly. Need to like slam like super hard. They say also normal for new car. Then i tried one of their car in showroom (red colour, of course also new) can tutup easily leh. Coz im used to slam my door super hard, when driving my parents' vios, slam very hard like sound like pecah already, coz vios closely slowly also can. Last time I complained about the left side Centre air conditioning got less power than the right side of the Centre air conditioning. They said is normal I complained the tak tak tak sound at the side of driver seat, also normal. And a lot more..all is normal. QUOTE(hbgoh57 @ Dec 13 2015, 02:17 AM) But after u off and restart the engine the eco mode will be on again right?what i meant was permanently off it even after u restart the engine Did you really turn off your Eco mode? Press the Eco button to off it. Once you off it, it will not activate back even after you stop and start back your engine.QUOTE(darknessz @ Dec 13 2015, 02:30 AM) make sure the eco button is switched off. the eco mode will retain its status eventho you switched off and ignite your car. How much is it for the reverse camera at the EA autoworks?as long you don't modify/tap on headlight wiring, you will be fine, but again the warranty policy varies according to different honda center. your best bet is to tap directly to car battery so you can take it out at ease. i set my DRL to adjust its brightness according to my headlight so there's some wire tapping involvement there. so far i have no issues with the warranty. I installed mine at EA autoworks. You may want to consider forking out abit more and go ahead with Sony chipset based reverse camera as it offer more clearer reverse image. |

Didn't know current City version keyless entry can use hand direct open the door and boot won't close if key inside the boot, until my sis got the car yesterday.
I thought only Japan version or higher level car got this technology, because knew this technology quite some time ago. Awesome! |

QUOTE(off_shore @ Dec 13 2015, 07:01 AM) Do you have any pictures to show and how much you paid for it? It doesn't void the electrical warranty right? sorry i can't provide the picture as I've taken down the camera due to it snapping off from my carelessness when adjusting the camera ( the build is abit fragile unfortunately ). i got it for around RM 450+ with installation iirc. currently i am using some cheap china made camera, and though the image wasn't as clear as the Sony one but at least the angle adjustment is secured via a screw.in regard to the electrical warranty, i believe the center has the right to void your warranty for any electrical modification that are not done by them.. but if you want a slight piece of mind, you can order the official reverse camera for Honda City for about RM 1k from Hingan, which i believe it has all the harness since it's an official Honda product. QUOTE(zhaff6 @ Dec 13 2015, 12:29 PM) hi. can anyone assist me to choose which variant is suitable for me? go to 3rd party car accessories shop and install the modulo bodykit, which should cost you around RM 700 - 900 depending on the type of material - which is far cheaper than what the SA will quote you.i want a good looking body kit, but when i see back the modulo package, seems like overprice. Is it the v variant is good enough? or u guys think the modulo package will be still acceptable? thanks in advance please do let me know ur driving experience with honda city as well, im changing from perodua myvi to honda city, hehe thanks V spec being the highest spec has alot to offer compared to the lower variant ( 6 airbags, touch screen HU, cruise control and more ). depending on your own preference, i personally own an E spec and spent the price difference to upgrade a better HU, speaker and much more. i've driven the city for nearing 2 years now and so far it has no issue. the only thing that i will complain is on the acceleration cause it does not gives you the "oommph" feeling when you are pressing hard on the pedal |

Hi...received my honda city E few days ago... current mileage 700km+
Engine..gear box..and suspension no issues But there seem to be some problems with interior and exterior fit and finish- (1) Gap at the driver's side dash board near the windscreen (2) Poor fit of the driver's side mirror interior cover (3) Flimsy rubber and plastic fittings of the exterior side windows (4) Thin layer of exterior paint... scratches after hit by small pabbles I wonder if the SC could rectify all these issues when I bring in my car for the 1st 1K service..? Thanks in advance This post has been edited by natni02: Dec 13 2015, 09:44 PM |
