Is this "Normal" or my "Green Light" burned already? sweat.gif

the dot dot dot area memang cannot stick one.. mine 3m also same. basically tint film cant stick on that part..
so if u go back, they would probably just cut out the dot2 part.
*
QUOTE(^Ware^wolf @ Oct 30 2015, 02:26 PM)
oh..really ? then they might as well cut it out that portion ... will the cutter scratch my windscreen ? doh.gif  doh.gif
*
I am surprised both of you guys' tint shops actually stick the tint onto the dots. Maybe their worker inexperienced. hmm.gif

The tint shop i went, they actually measure and cut off the tint film so that it wont stick onto it. sweat.gif

green light won't light up after you've started your car, try pressing the push start button with your foot not on the brake  icon_rolleyes.gif
can stick 1, it all depends on the skill and quality of the glue, more than 6 months since installed, no sign of peeling off on my llumar film yet
*
Argh...thank you so much. Feel so relieved after reading your replies rclxms.gif Later i go and check again smile.gif

eh, the tint shop i went said cannot.. scared later will spoil the things or something haha. So the 1 you went must be really skillful smile.gif

LOL... Because I live in the middle of the city, how I going to use the highway.  tongue.gif

Most of the time I also WFH, no need to drive outside the city, can save money on tolls.

Anyway.. this is mixed city and highway (also jam that time) in the last few days.
[attachmentid=5239617]
*
Haha.. almost the same. In the city figure, same with the 1 i travel to work during weekday. But weekend, when i traveled around KV to Subang, MV or Dsara then sometime can get 16km/l or more tongue.gif

QUOTE(lil_flank @ Nov 4 2015, 03:49 PM)
Luckily our city have the irritating sealt belt reminder. I use this excuse to tell my in laws to wear seat belts.
*
Yea.. and i also always forgot to put down my handbrake, luckily also got warning on that ^^ So now, no need to drag the handbrake for long distance liao haha

*
haha at 1st, also same. Because i was wearing seatbelt, so impossible it's the seatbelt warning. So nowadays, i knew it is the handbrake. smile.gif

Haiz..i normally forgot to put down the handbrake when i am thinking something in my mind sweat.gif

QUOTE(Taeng9389 @ Nov 4 2015, 04:47 PM)
not really, they just have the balls to stick it on and worry about it later, lol
cannot spoil 1 la, the tint shop i went even use cutter blade to scrape the surface of the dotted part, nothing happen, haha
*
oh i see. which mean those users who got affected, can have that particular section tint tear off without damaging those dots. smile.gif

By the way, nice avatar tongue.gif

i myself have used cutter blade on the edges of the windscreen, as long as you don't push too hard on the blade, it'll be fine, worst case scenario, you remove the black color coating on the windscreen  laugh.gif
*
Now that explained on why those tint staffs dare to use cutter blade to cut the tint film off. Thank you so much notworthy.gif

I don't care about the FC already, no way for me to get better FC during the weekdays.

I also like the seat belt sound, it's remind me about the safety. My previous car don't have it.

The handbrake sound also really help me a lots cos sometime I forgot to release.  laugh.gif  laugh.gif

The only annoying things, I can't lock the car from outside when engine is running.
*
Yea...i expect the FC to be better since this car is EEV certified 1. sweat.gif

Then is there other people inside the car? Because i think for safety purpose la. tongue.gif It will be more troublesome if we lock our key inside the car right? smile.gif

QUOTE(^Ware^wolf @ Nov 4 2015, 05:31 PM)
how i wish to have lane assist on our City ... good for me as i travel outstation quite frequent ....
*
same here. In europe already a mandatory requirement to score 5 stars. So, we may need to wait for few years to get it.

Hopefully, Honda Malaysia will not strip off all these features from the new civic when it released here in 2017 smile.gif

Buy the new civic....  biggrin.gif
There is someone inside the car, but most of the time my son and my wife sit at the back, so hard for them to reach the lock at front door to lock the door when I stop for a while to go to bank or shop.

My previous car, I just lock using the door handle from outside and when I back to the car I use spare key inside my purse to open the door. Very useful during long distance trip because most of the time the passenger goes to hibernate mode until reach the destination.
*
I see. Seem like you have to bring a spare key if you lazy to take out the remote in the full cover. smile.gif

I have checked. Indeed if we start engine normally don't have that green light 1. If don't press the foot and press the button, will have the green light. notworthy.gif

Honda know their customer always forgot to release that's why they implement the alarm.

In V Spec HU, you can check the Handbrake status release or not. (using some secret touch).

Anyone of u regret getting the city over rival mazda2/vios/preve?

Just curious
*
Erm.. last time i wanna buy Iriz 1 but then kena sound from my friends to relatives to parent. sweat.gif So decided to opt for City due to its practicality and fuel efficiency.

Luckily I didn't buy Iriz, if not gonna regret now because Proton next year gonna use Jatco CVT instead of Punch.

If there is 1 thing I regret, that will be buying my City from my current SA sweat.gif Other than that.. all is good except the Honda SC "normal" thingy sweat.gif

Hi, very much  appreciate your fast  response.
How about honda center, where should I go to, how long normally they take? What benefits do I get in this case?
*
Erm.. The benefit of having it fix in Honda Centre will guaranteed original spare parts been installed. Outside workshop sometime uses imitation parts or worst swap your existing ori parts into imitation sweat.gif

Omg exactly...i have the same problem. Just went to honda this morning. But suddenly the sound disappear, go jalan2 around the area with 2 and then 1 passenger also dont have already...

But surely esok lusa the tuk tuk sound come back.
I complaint my aircond got asap from outside come in especially if youre driving behind lorry or those motocycle that hot a lot of asap...they say it's normal. I dont get it how it is normal when youre BRAETHING CARBON MONOXIDE AND GOD KNOWS WHAT'S IN THE SMOKE...

and also complaint my door cannot close firmly. Need to like slam like super hard. They say also normal for new car. Then i tried one of their car in showroom (red colour, of course also new) can tutup easily leh.

Coz im used to slam my door super hard, when driving my parents' vios, slam very hard like sound like pecah already, coz vios closely slowly also can.
*
Haha...welcome to enjoy Honda's hospitality. tongue.gif you will soon hear almost everything also normal 1 tongue.gif
Last time I complained about the left side Centre air conditioning got less power than the right side of the Centre air conditioning. They said is normal

I complained the tak tak tak sound at the side of driver seat, also normal.

And a lot more..all is normal. sweat.gif

But after u off and restart the engine the eco mode will be on again right?what i meant was permanently off it even after u restart the engine
*
Did you really turn off your Eco mode? Press the Eco button to off it. Once you off it, it will not activate back even after you stop and start back your engine.

QUOTE(darknessz @ Dec 13 2015, 02:30 AM)
make sure the eco button is switched off. the eco mode will retain its status eventho you switched off and ignite your car.
as long you don't modify/tap on headlight wiring, you will be fine, but again the warranty policy varies according to different honda center. your best bet is to tap directly to car battery so you can take it out at ease. i set my DRL to adjust its brightness according to my headlight so there's some wire tapping involvement there. so far i have no issues with the warranty.
I installed mine at EA autoworks. You may want to consider forking out abit more and go ahead with Sony chipset based reverse camera as it offer more clearer reverse image.
*
How much is it for the reverse camera at the EA autoworks?
